A passage from Musashi

On my way to my boxing project, I got to this page from Musashi, the novel by Eiji Yoshikawa. It's so relatable.

Thank you so much for the support. Without you and everyone in my life, I wouldn't be able to keep doing the work I do. All I can do in return is make the best comics and art I can.

I will continue SlimyThief, bear with me, I will, but until then, I'm pausing the billing.

I must figure out what to do to support myself without relying on commissions, especially smut commissions. It's honest work, but not a dignifying one, and it's again affecting my life negatively to the point that I'm losing the passion for drawing.

Maybe this is just what aging does to people.
