TL;DR - I'm reworking some of part 2, and that'll delay the book a bit longer - but I think it'll make it better.
Hey! Some of you have been kind enough to bug me about Modeling Deception Part 2, which I've been working on for a while.
Truth is, the book took a weird right-turn somewhere in the middle, a plot "sprouting" out of nowhere. It's an interesting plot (and hot) but it's also, basically, the wrong plot. It takes the book in a different direction to where I wanted to go. However, I wrote (checks) errr, 12,000 words around this new plot so.... yeah, that's going to get cut and that puts the book back to about half-finished, so it'll be delayed a bit. Not that I had an official date, but...
... screw it, let's stick a flag in Valentine's Day. Just over a month. A stretch? Yes. But hey, something to shoot for.
You're probably saying right now "What was the plot?" but I'm not gonna tell you. A good idea is a good idea, and it'll likely turn up somewhere else, either in a future part or potentially in a different story. If that happens maybe I'll mention it.
