Before I get into the playtesting, I want to quickly say thank you to everyone for playing and showing interest in The Home of Pleasure. I'm over the moon that so many of you have enjoyed the game.
I'm also happy to announce that Episode 2 Part 1 is almost complete!
So, to avoid having to do a massive patch like I did when I released episode 1, I'm looking for playtesters.
I'm looking for three people in total, but I've already got one, so there are only two spots left.
Playtesters Needed
- Straight path: (I already have someone for this). Somone to test the game without enabling the lesbian content.
- Lesbian path: Someone to test the game with lesbian content enabled.
- Poly path: Someone to test the game with lesbian content enabled and with the LI's allowed to have relationships with each other.
There isn't much lesbian/poly content in ep 2 part 1, but I need to ensure none of the paths bleed into each other, so your preferences on how you play the game definitely helps here. Especially if you're willing to playtest future updates too.
What I'm looking for in a playtester
- Honesty: If something doesn't work or if something annoys you, be brutally honest with me. I can take it.
- Speed: We all live busy lives, so I'm not looking for miracles, but the quicker I get your feedback, the quicker I can release the update. I haven't playtested it myself yet (I'll do that before you test it), but as a complete guess, it's about 1.5 hours of gamelpay, so you'll need a spare couple of hours for this.
- Attention to detail: If you enjoy trying out different options, reading everything in full, and exploring the story, you are perfect for playtesting.
What you'll get out of this
Not only will you be able to play an early, possibly buggy version of the game before anyone else, but you'll also get a credit in the game for being a playtester. Playtesting also means you'll have a direct hand in the production and shaping of the game, as well as my eternal gratitude for helping to ensure the game is as good as it can be.
I'm going to be quite busy with my day job over the next three days but I'm aiming to have the game ready for playtesting by Sunday.
