Should I get a capture card for Switch stuff?

Ok so I bought a Switch for a few reasons and possibly Shitpost in the future, the problem is that the more I use the Switch the more I feel like I'm wasting potentially fun moments and highlights to use on videos

So basically I'm feeling pressured to invest on a Capture Card for content because of how I wanted to give some thought first and also because the Switch itself was an investment already so I wanted to save some more before doing that (actually helps with taking breaks from the computer and carpal tunnel with wrist exercises)

Since it is another damn investment I sorta wanted to ask for permission first. I felt like patrons should get a say on this as well.
