Hi Everyone,This Community Challenge is: write something with a mix of Mixolydian and The Major Key
Last week, the goal was to be strict and write something within the bounds of mixolydian. In this challenge, you get to be a little looser. Think of the Major Key as your base, but then borrow chords from Mixolydian mode to spice up your chord progression.
Watch out though! Because if you write a melody containing the 7th note of the scale, you have to make sure that your melody doesn't clash with your chord choices. Watch last week's community challenge if you need a refresher on how mixolydian works.

Remember - Community Challenges are practice, not perfection. The goal isn't to write your masterpiece. Don't take it too seriously. Just practice making something and get familiar with the process.
