This week, the challenge is to write a rhythm guitar part to the track in this video. It could be complex, simple, busy, anything you want! You can stick with triads, or use fancier 7th and 9th chords. You can fingerpick, strum, arpeggiate - use the skills you've learned while you're here to write a rhythm guitar part any way you want.
The video shows all the information, but here is a basic rundown:
INTRO || A SECTION || B SECTION || A SECTION
INTRO (more of a count-in)A SECTION (Am F G Em, repeat)B SECTION (F Dm C G, repeat)
If you'd like to keep it technologically simple, you could play along to the track on one device while recording with another device. If you'd like to make it fancier, you could import the track to your DAW of choice and record over the top. Or if you want to get really fancy, you could import the stems to your DAW and tinker with the mix using each individual instrument.
For those importing into your DAW, the track is at 90BPM
If you want to go above and beyond, you could write a lead guitar part over the top.
