This week’s progress has been focused on modeling the assault rifle.
However, I fell quite ill at the beginning of the week, was taken to the hospital by ambulance, and spent a day and a half there, so my progress hasn’t been great. I missed two days of work, and for about two days after being discharged, I only did light work to rest my body. Please bear this in mind.
First, I’ll start by shaping it from a cube.
I extend the muzzle from the cube.
I extend the barrel and roughly add the texture to the tip.
I extend the rear section.
I create a texture on the top where a scope could be attached.
I create the bottom section.
Since the part where the grip attaches looked like it could be removable, I’m creating it based on my imagination. As long as it serves its purpose for the video, I’ll let this part be based on my imagination. At this point, to simplify the process, I’ll cut the gun in half vertically.
I’ll create the trigger mechanism and the grip.
I’ve added the magazine.
I’m making the stock.
I’m making the front sight.
It doesn't look like I'll be able to make any further progress this week, so I'll apply the mirror to restore the image to its original state so I can get an overview.
This is what it looks like now. That’s all for this week’s progress.
