August Break – A Much-Needed Pause

Guys, I wanted to let you know in advance about a decision I’ve made for the month of August.

Since November 2024, I haven’t taken a single month off. Every month, without exception, I’ve kept the pace I set for myself and delivered the 14 episodes I promised without missing once.

I’m proud that I’ve managed to stay this consistent for so long, but I can clearly feel the fatigue starting to build up, and I genuinely need to take a step back and breathe for a while.

On top of that, something happened recently that affected me mentally more than I expected: I discovered that my Patreon content was being pirated and reposted almost in real time, sometimes only a few minutes after I published it here.

When you spend so many hours writing, preparing, producing, and editing content in order to make your subscription as worthwhile as possible for your members, seeing that work immediately redistributed elsewhere for free is obviously difficult to deal with.

I’m not going to lie, it has started to affect both my motivation and my productivity.

Rather than continuing to work while tired and frustrated, and eventually putting out videos made without the same passion or at a lower quality than what you’re used to getting from me, I’d rather take a real break, clear my head, and come back fully motivated and ready to give everything again.

I’ll still release 1 or 2 more videos before the end of July, and then I’ll be completely off for the entire month of August.

Of course, Patreon billing will also be paused for August. I’m definitely not going to charge you during a month where I won’t be producing new content.

The goal is simply to take a few weeks to rest, enjoy some actual vacation time, think about something else for a while, and come back in September fully recharged.

After almost two years without a real break and maintaining this production pace month after month, I honestly think I need it.

We’ll finish July properly, and then I’m finally taking a real vacation.
