Every year our patrons vote on a natural history themed jack o'lantern for Kallie to care, and this year they voted for plesiosaur!
Kallie based this carving on artwork by First Nations artist Andy Everson (@andy_everson_nwc_artist).Andy's logo represents the Elasmosaur becoming the official fossil of the Province of British Columbia, Canada in 2018. He incorporated design elements from his Salish ancestry since many Elasmosaur fossils have been found on K'Γ³moks traditional lands.
