The long wait is over, here's the Early Access Release for the final (story) part of Chapter 2!
Sorry it took so long, but it's quite a substantial update and I didn't want to throw something out half-finished.
As I don't want to spoil too much stuff before you experienced it yourself, I plan to do another post in a couple of days that explains a bit more the underlying logic behind the branching paths that are implemented here. That way you can test and check if everything works as expected. But I would like you to go in "blind" first, so to say. 😏
Some noteworthy hints though, so you know how to progress:
1) After 15 "donations" and at least 2 days after Clara's foot has been healed with the large medipack, she should come up to you after a "donation" and propose to enter the tomb
2) after getting the idol, it's a good idea to keep a save file -> there will also be an in-game hint about this
3) How the showdown will play out before you leave the tomb depends on...
Whether or not you defeated Doppelganger previously
Your affection level with Clara
Whether you let her have the idol or keep it to yourself
... which will also determine which of the 3 endings you can unlock
I will explain this in more detail in a separate post, let's keep it at that for now.
Some things I plan to improve for a fix update or the public release:
bug fixes - I'm sure you'll find some! please report whenever you come across something odd or broken
possibly adding some more art for scenes where currently there's only a black screen and text/voiceover
in the fight with Clara, have her clothes torn
A 6th unlockable secret for Chapter 2

- idol loot sequence incl. 2 minigame puzzles
- showdown for exiting the tomb with variations based on your choices and affection level (some end in battles)
- you will be informed which of the 3 endings you unlocked for Chapter 3
Known issues / unfinished stuff:
BUG: During the final battle scene, the game controls are still visible where they shouldn't be (save, load, skip etc.). Clicking those will lead to a lot of problems, so just ignore them, please 😇 . Will remove them in a fix/update.
- The opened gate and light coming through looks a little weird when fully opened - I will improve the visuals on this.
- Clara will still reference/demand donating in interactions even after you retrieved the idol, which obviously doesn't make a lot of sense. I will overhaul these dialogues later in a more holistic way, as I also want to make her reactions more befitting to her current corruption/affection level.
