I've got a mech, spaceship, and tank that I'll be uploading on MakerWorld this week as well! If you're able to download any of my recent uploads, it helps support my work quite a lot!
I have also started using a new creative method for designing model kits involving LEGO. The process includes getting a small LEGO set, making my own unique designs, and then turning those designs into a 3D printable model kit in my own style.
Here's an example:
I got this LEGO set:
And made a MOC (my own creation) that's limited to those parts in the set:
Created a 3DP model kit that takes the shape and form of the MOC but uses my joint system:
And then added all of the detail that I was imagining on the spaceship that the LEGO parts weren't able to capture:
This ends with a finished 3D printable model kit! This one is called the Dune Wraith and I'll have more like this soon that will show the process.
