Script Teaser - A Walk in the Park [F4M] [Friends to Lovers] [Motherly Jay x Tired Coworker] [Date] [Wholesome]
Summary:Work has been crazy lately. You haven't been able to catch your breath for a single day. You’re practically killing yourself trying to make ends meet and get all the OT you can.
One day, you favorite coworker, and all around bestie, Jay, invites you out on a date on one of your rare days off. She wanted to help you rest and recuperate before Peak Season really starts to take off.
Jay has always looked out for you since the day you started. Bringing you meals when you forget your lunch, sneaking you pick me up snacks and drinks, forcing you to take breaks when you stubbornly try to keep going, and also taking some of your workload so you don’t break your back.
While she does do this for everyone around the workplace - earning her the moniker Mama Jay - she’s always had a special place for you in her heart. She goes out of her way, especially, for you to make sure you don’t keel over.
Today, though, she wants to make clear that she would love to be there for you as more than just a loving coworker.

((Park))(Fountain, little chatter, Midday)
“Huh? Oh! Hey! Over here!” … “Glad you could make it!” (wrapper) “Here. I brought this for you. It’s those dried fruit snacks you like.”
… …
“Ha ha. No big deal.” … “I notice that when you eat them they put a pep in your step.” … “Like all of your problems are solved by these little snacks.”
… …
“No. I didn’t have to. But I wanted to.”
… …
“No no, I haven’t been waiting long at all.” … “If anything, I got here a little early. One of the quirks I picked up with the job.”
… …
“Exactly. If you aren’t 20 minutes early, you’re late! HA HA HA!” …… … … “What? What’s with the staring? Stare any harder and you’ll make me think I look silly in this dress.”
… …
“Oh?! HA HA HA! You’re just not used to seeing me dress so cute.” … “You flatterer.” … “I admit, I’m so used to dressing in gloves, leggings, steel toes, and T-Shirts that I almost forget I have women’s clothing.” … “Well, not much need for a dress when I’m stacking 500 items on a pallet to be shipped out.”
“Honestly, I was worried that I was too bulky in the arms to be wearing something like this.”
… …
“Oh ho…you think it suits me?” … “And you’d love to see me flash a little leg at work, would you?” … “Looking for more incentive to keep your productivity up, are you? Maybe not just your productivity…tee hee.” … “Speaking of legs, I noticed you can’t help sneaking peeks at them.” … “You like what you’re seeing?”
… …
“You’d like to see more, huh?” … “You degenerate simp.” … “Tell you what. Beat me as top order filler next time, and maybe I’ll wear a miniskirt for you.”
… …
“AH! Hey! No need to yell like that!” … “I…guess I do mean it?” … … “Ugh…you get…to choose…the outfit?” … “Well…ugh…fine.” … … “HUH! And if I beat you you’ll buy me Funnel Cake for the Entire Week?” … “Sounds like we have a deal.”
“Anyway, shall we get moving? There’s a little fair happening that’s just waiting for us to unleash our inner children.”
… …
“Ha ha! Lead the way, Good Sir.” … “Ooh, letting me hang on your arm? What a gentleman.” … … “Gotta show off the pretty lady you landed? You degenerate simp.”
