[FM4A] The Moon’s Glare P. 3

Background:

You woke up in the middle of a forest, with nothing but a hazy recollection of what had happened. The events leading to where you were, were in your memory, but scarce and scattered. Soon after, a naga discovered you were still alive and chased you. Near the end of the chase, they bit you. You ran quickly into an abandoned cabin. Once you shut the door, they mentioned how you were in a different monster’s territory, and left rather quickly. A voice sounded from behind you, causing you to faint. You woke up to a tall

man sitting by you. You exchange conversation, and he ends up taking you in and tending to your wounds. How lucky!

When you two were about to nod off to sleep, you remembered that you needed to discuss where you’d be sleeping. After a bit of arguing, he caved and let you sleep on the couch. Turns out, he tricked you into drinking a sleeping potion, and instead carried you to his bed, and he slept on the couch instead. When you woke up, you berated him a bit before succumbing to conversation. He nerded off a bit about the types of brews. You asked him about it, and he explained how he used to be an alchemist to provide for himself and his younger brother, Caleb. Eventually you got to the topic of Jay being turned into a werewolf, and he (with lots of sobbing) explained how a werewolf attacked him and Caleb, turning him but killing his brother. You hug and eventually head off to breakfast.
