So on my end I unfortunately got sidetracked by something pretty rough this month, but it's dealt with now. Just my luck for saying what was causing delays would be over with and getting a new wrench thrown in, but it is what it is. I had to take some time off from my other job as well, and this post is basically the first thing I'm doing now that I'm back at my desk properly. However the Bioshock video, in theory, would be on track to be done next week. This is already some weeks behind where I wanted it to be, and with the 4th of July weekend looming for my area that means random fireworks and noise happening both a good week ahead and after it, so it's gonna be a pay pause period. Rest assured everyone is still being folded into credits and all that from earlier, and the selected questions are already in place, but this should be for the best when it comes to the video and not trying to surge ahead and retaking lines to make a deadline. Patreon only lets you pause pay periods the day of rather than doing it ahead of time which is bizarre, so you won't actually see that notification go out until the 27th, but that plan is set so I don't lose my mind when I have a feeling the video is going to run longer than I planned with what I have done so far. I already had to record some portions of BioShock 2 for a few points for the video, so it's looking likely that the sequel might make sense for a video sooner than later. Minerva's Den would also make sense as a standalone compared to folding it directly into a video for 2 since it's worthwhile enough to separate as its own project I think.
Regardless, the gaming book club had a great amount of support, so a poll will be going up for that in early July! From there we'll figure out when to get started with the "announce it's time to play the selection" date based on where the BioShock video is at and we'll go from there. I'm drawing the initial selection from the comments in the Water Womb World video, but after that I think a list will be made from commenters here to help keep track of it. I'd imagine there'll be some crossover with the main game list, but that shouldn't be a big deal since these videos will still hit the main channel eventually. This should go hand in hand with any overhauls to the page itself with the new layout and all that, so it should be interesting getting everything figured out.
