DESCRIPTION
Putting on a convention is a show that requires years to build up to. Once the machinations and processes are up and running, depending on the size and frequency of the event, it can be a full-time job to keep it in operation. Not a business to get into without planning and the ability to adapt and adjust along the way.
Kelci and I both have loads of experience as creators promoting within this world, but the ones who actually make the events happen are truly unique people. There have been some books, movies and shows that take place within this universe (Chasing Amy, Supercon) but it would be amazing to see an A24 style tale about a con promoter and the sacrifices they have to make to fulfill their dream.
