I finally found someone who made an anatomically correct weight-distribution system for DAZ! Thank you, thank you, thank you to heviestate3d for making these. They have more sets that I will be purchasing in the future.
I wish I had found them years ago, because this has been a major sticking point for me since I started making references. I always struggled to get realistically proportioned body types before, even on the HD models that DAZ makes themselves, and people would (rightfully so) comment on it. These morphs are going to open up an ENDLESS variety in bodies! Even being able to add a small fat roll here and there will make a huge difference.
A few additional notes on this update:
I'm already ahead on packs, so you probably won't see any of these changes until May.
There will still be some poses that I'll either need to avoid or adjust for the larger models. This has always been an issue in this program, since any extreme bending or compression causes areas like the belly to pinch or collapse. I will do my best to adjust them, though, as I don't really want to avoid certain poses. Thankfully, Genesis 9 (the name of this generation of DAZ models) is a lot more forgiving than 8 was!
Next improvement on my list is lighting. 💡 Take care, everyone.
