W.I.P #220 (Animated #3 [Final]) - Iliya & Marzi

hey hey, been a minute, but i'm back. the con was a lovely time, and i only managed to lose two very replaceable things this time. not a whole lot else to say about it off the top of my head. it was a much-needed breather and very rejuvenating (minus the insane heatwave - i actually gotta replace my goggles because i was sweating so much that the adhesive came undone). i did have some lovely interactions with fans and strangers alike, danced myself half to death, and got some actual photos this time (though in half of them im doing the exact same pose for whatever goddamn reason). very likely gonna be the last con i do till MFF in december.

but yeah, anywho, i had to take the 7th to rest up from the con and subsequent drive and then spent the 8th getting enough work done on this to share the final WIP for it. so with that said, this covers the rest of the animation. I've also combined it with the final WIP of the first half, so it's all in one place. it was a surprisingly challenging position to do and not the cleanest work i've done, but with how many moving parts there are in this shot, i'm moderately pleased with the results so far. now it's just a matter of the usual finishing touches. i'm expecting to have it all finished up and ready for rendering within the next couple of days.

regarding skits, i've got nothing to share at the moment. been trying to come up with some ideas, though. most of my existing ideas/concepts/drafts are fairly long, and as i previously mentioned, i would like the next 1-2 skits to be on the shorter side so i can put some more focus on burning through my to-do list (and just because the last handful have been fairly exhausting to finish, fun as they were). i should have something more to share by the next post.
