Presenting a New Drawing Collection: Engage's Photobook.
Let's have a great start of the week!
The Photobook (or Notebook) is a pin-up–focused collection featuring Fire Emblem Engage characters exclusively, inspired by Alear’s Notebook feature in the game.
What makes this collection different (aside from focusing only on these characters) is that it began as a sketching practice project. All the artwork is 100% based on real-life photo references I’ve found online, using poses I personally find interesting and (of course) attractive😳. Because of this, some anatomy or proportions may look a bit unconventional at times. That’s intentional: the drawings are based on dynamic camera angles and real perspectives, rather than traditional static art-model poses.
This approach has been incredibly helpful for my studies and is a lot of fun for me to work on. I hope you enjoy this collection as much as I enjoy creating it!
Aaand of course, Alfred is the first character to be featured on this collection! Hope you like it and look forward for more drawings!
