Snappy Seafarer, Ike by Arachmo

Hello FrEinds! Happy WED!

I’ve been working on a redraw of an old Ike piece I made waaay back and (one of my very first drawings, which somehow still does numbers on Twitter/X!) at first, I planned to do a simple rework and tried to keep his facial features as close to the original as possible. But the more I worked on it, the more I realized it just wasn’t working. I ended up changing some of the angles and even the position of his hands (which is a pain to do) and I was almost ready to scrap the whole thing <.<

BUT I decided to leave it alone for about a week, and when I came back to it, it actually didn’t look too bad! (artists will understand😅) So instead of giving up on it, I decided to take it in a different direction and turn it into a summer drawing of our favorite hero and lord.

Hope you guys like it! As usual my favorite prop is the Māori necklace! (Also, I gave you a little extra booty-shot 😉)

ETA: I do not know what the hell is wrong with my tablet but the saturation and coloring is not right. Fixed the color saturation =P
