Hey everyone!
I'm here with the next check-in! I’ve started working on the gardening part of this set because I wanted to create some gardening objects that don’t look too farmhouse-y. I decided I'd combine wood with rocks to give it that "dry" feel.
I spent so long to put these 3 objects together I almost lost my motivation. :D I always like to quickly reach the point when I can see an item come to life with the texture but with these I spent days in grey clay mode. Finally today I reached a point where I could do the texture for the potting table and I spent a really long time on it to paint all the details. I have to say it's still a little farmhouse-y but I don't mind. :D
The unfinished little piece in the top left corner is gonna be a sink with the same rock backsplash (?) the table has. Also it's gonna have plaster texture to really embrace the Mediterranean look.
I wanted to include something functional too and the only item I found which is related to gardening is the flower arranging table. I quickly separated the top of the table, added a slotting function to it and it worked and I could use it as a tabletop flower arranging table. So I decided I'd make a separated flower arranging setup that you can put on most surfaces which have the biggest slot. (At least I hope so, I havent tested it yet fully because I still have a lot of work with the model.)
I hope I can slowly start working on the plants because I have a few in mind that I definitely want to include. I usually struggle with my plants, so I need to spend more time on them than on other objects.
