WIP #93
DESCRIPTION

Hey everyone!

It feels a lifetime ago when I last checked in but as I mentioned I was away for a few days so I couldn't start the new collection.

Once I got back home I started with some research about Victorian architecture so I can do my items as accurate as possible. I gathered a bunch of references and ended up with this more simple looking sash window style.

Since I’m planning to include more ornate elements like spandrels and columns, I wanted to keep the windows simple and versatile so they can work with other styles as well.

Although the windows are simple they will have swatches with stained glass. I'm really excited to do those swatches because my main inspiration for this collection were stained glass windows.

The last few days I've been experimenting with friezes. I've made 3-4 versions and didn't like either of them and I got frustrated and moved on to the base texture for the windows so I can show you something other than gray models. :D So I'm yet to return to that project. But I might have to scrap that whole idea.

In early May I'm going away again for a few days to continue the Camino de Santiago which I started last year, so I have 2,5 weeks for this CC set. I will do my best to include as many items as I can but my main focus is quality over quantity. I’m planning to make a couple of front door designs (hopefully two), along with the column and spandrel I want to include.

I hope you like the start of this new collection, I'm excited to see it come to life and to give it more personality.
