Hey everyone!
I got so sucked into working on this set that I didn't even realize my last update was a week ago! As you can see, I finally started putting the finished items into the game, so these are the first in-game screenshots.
The biggest thing I finished today is the modular sofa. I used the trusty old Dream Home Decorator modular sofa system (made base game compatible), and it comes with eight different meshes. I also added the special slot (except to the big curved pieces because it wasn't working properly) that lets all the pieces snap together, so when you want to move the sofa, you only have to grab one piece instead of each individually. I really like how it turned out! I think it fits our theme beatifully with the stripes and bright blue color. Of course I'm gonna add some other colors and swatches without stripes!
The other bigger project I'm working on might not seem like a big thing, but it's really time-consuming: making all the drink bottles. My goal is to create different groups of drinks, with each group representing a different type of well-known, more luxurious alcoholic beverage. There are so many unique labels, and little details to make! Sometimes it's the smallest items that end up taking the longest! I got the popular tequilas finished, you can see them in the picture!
Last smaller things, I added a lit up setting to the big shelves, they are light up only at night and as of right now the light works only outside.
Also finished the column too, though I still have to make all the variations for them (corner, half etc.) The columns also have a lot of meshes included.
I hope you like the progress and are just as excited as I am! It’s been really refreshing to work on something completely different from what I’m used to, and I can’t wait to share the set!
