random but my current obsession right now is walnuts lol. they’re so fascinating… they literally look like tiny brains
I looked it up and it’s because the two halves of the kernel grow inside the shell and expand as much as they can, which makes all those folds that make it look like a brain 🧠
brains grow really fast and run out of room in the skull, so the surface wrinkles and folds, just like walnuts!
