I apologize for breaking the weekly cycle, but I am going to miss at least next week’s episode of Mus Numena. I’ve fallen behind in writing and need a “catchup” week or two to try to get back on track. I hate to plead bad time management—that’s definitionally on me—but it feels like the year and change I had without employment was enough time to forget how to do this well. I’m going to be trying a few different things, from attempting the revolutionary technique of “get out of bed earlier, you lazy cat” to the possibly perilous “duck out of family breakfast faster.” (I’m pretty sure that before I moved back home, I got a lot more writing done before work because there was no pressure to do anything other than sit down with a cup of coffee and stare at the computer for an hour.)
Anyway, with diligence and a little luck I’ll be back on track by mid-June to pick up with Ted and Aurora’s misadventures. I also have a few other ideas for future projects and maybe something specifically for higher-tier supporters, although that’s very much dependent on “Arilin sorts out her task management issues.”
