I’ve used “Arilin Thorferra” just for furry macro stories up to this point, using another name for non-macro furry stories and “crossover” pieces. However, as Arilin has kind of nudged her way into being the main way I present myself in furry spaces, I’m considering using the name for more furry works—basically, her brand (I hate the term, but you know what I mean) might shift a little into any furry material, macro or not, that isn’t likely to crossover into the mainstream. (Not that I wouldn’t love to see an animated version of The Turning or Red Savina, the latter of which is literally already a screenplay, but we know the chances are pretty minimal.) I’d absolutely still write stories with giants, predator/prey themes, tales set in my existing settings, and so on—but I might play around with more things, like an idea for a Sherlock Holmes-ish scenario that may not have giants at all, or a Korps story that might have some sizeplay but not as a big (ha!) part.
So, the poll is: if I occasionally did stories/serials here that were still furry, still had a lot of themes that I like to throw in, but aren’t specifically macro, would you still be on board with that?
