Synopsis: After a hard day, you call the one person whose voice can put you at with just a few words. The older woman you’ve been seeing for the past few years now. Your best friend’s mom. Thankfully, everyone you know is accepting of your relationship, so it makes being with her even more fulfilling. On the phone, you find out she’s taking a trip out of town for a much needed break. So, you’re apprehensive in sharing how upset you are today. But, she can sense something is wrong with her sweet boy. She invites you on the trip with her hoping it’ll brighten your mood. It does, but only for a little. There’s not much than six the heavy day you’ve had. You drive to the cabin in the woods she sent you and upon arrival you fall apart like putty in her arms. The whole day’s stress crashing down on you all at once, and she’s there’s to pick up the pieces. To be your anchor when your knees give out. Lay back, and ground yourself with her, let her make you whole again.
