Donkeys weren't the only product of Pleasure Island. It wasn't as if the company was intentionally producing jackasses for labor, it was just what most visitors revealed themselves to be. There was the rare other sort of ungulate...goats, sometimes horses, and even deer. There wasn't much profit to be made from deer, so usually they were left to wander off and populate the forests on the less-developed side of the island...a fate at least slightly better than most others received.
But until they were finished, often their libido flared, and they offered themselves as an outlet for others...who went on to prove their jackassery.
