⊹₊˚‧︵‿₊୨ᰔ୧₊‿︵‧˚₊⊹
Dear Raven,
I cannot believe Mahito didn't send any of my letters! I was wondering why I hadn't heard from you, and was afraid my alpha was right. He said it was because you hate me, but he just never sent them! I think he is jealous of our relationship, how silly of him.
Well, he promised he would send this one, so I really hope you get it!
There's so much I have to tell you!
First and foremost, I have been chosen by Mahito, an Alpha from the far North. The tippy top of the map! Kushoto!
It is soooo beautiful here, and it is always snowing! The days are worse than any chilly night in the Omega home, and the nights are freezing!
Mahito told me it gets worse in the wintertime!
I have to wear a fire collar, bracelet, earrings, and rings to play outside. But it is so worth it! Mahito taught me a game called snowball fight! It's like when you have a food fight, but with the snow! It's fun!
Although Jogo got really upset when I hit him with a snowball, I had to be punished by my alpha. Which is so not fair since Mahito told me to hit him! He was laughing with me as Jogo’s fire blew from the top of his head! Raven, you should see his head, it looks like the pictures of Mt. Jufi! (Mahito said he'd take me there if I behave!)
Jogo hates the snow and the cold! This is the WORST place for him.
Could you read the sarcasm?
Mechamaru taught me what sarcasm is! He got
Tired of me taking him too literally. He called me a drag. I’m not so certain I know what that means, but Mahito says it means I’m great!
I can’t wait to introduce you to everyone! There’s Jogo, whom I have mentioned before. He’s like an old, grumpy man. He’s always fussing about 'when is it time'.
I’m so curious what he is waiting for. Time for dinner? Time for bed?
I’ve asked him 'time for what' but he refuses to tell me!
My alpha just tells me to ignore him.
Then there’s Hanami! She's usually the one to calm down Jogo. Oh my Tengen dragons, she’s so sweet! The first time she spoke to me was when she saw me pick up a little insect and set it aside so no one would step on it. She says I’m very gentle and don’t leave destruction in my path. Now we take care of the wildlife together, and before we eat our food, we bless the Dragon of Nature who has bestowed us such a meal.
The people up North are not very fond of the 'T' man. Especially Kenjaku. That's the head of the home. He doesn't claim to be the pack father, but it just feels like he is. I don't see Kenjaku much, though. He's always sleeping or staring at this painting in the grand room. But it's a blank painting! It has nothing on it! I guess everyone has their own version of art, because he cherishes that painting like it is his own pup!
Who have I not talked about?
Oh! Mechamaru! He is very sarcastic, which is what he told me. He also doesn't say much, but I have been enjoying playing games with him! I think he's enjoying my presence too, since he calls me a drag so much.
Dago doesn't say anything at all, but he is just as much fun to hang out with. He likes to be in the frozen lake or down at the coast.
While ice skating, he will float and twirl around with me. You would love ice skating! It's just like dancing, but you are gliding with each move. I fell a lot, but I think I'm getting better now! I will have to show you what fun we can have here. There are not many people around. A few servants take care of the home, but other than that, it is empty. But the quiet is so peaceful. A great contrast to the Omega house where every day was so busy and loud!
Here I feel like I can hear myself think.
Let me go on and finish this letter. I must tell you about my alpha! I saved the best for last, of course.
I don't even know how it occurred, to be honest. He was at the Omega home visiting, and I just so happened to bump into him. It was like love at first sight if you could believe it. It felt like a fairy tale the way I ran into him with a bucket of water, spilling it all over the place. He got so angry at me, calling me a stupid, clumsy girl, but I helped him clean up, and then we just got to talking for hours.
I was so enchanted by him.
His laugh.
His funny little requests.
His reprimands.
Everything he did just made me so obsessed.
But I knew I was already promised to another, so I didn't think that our relationship could ever sprout into anything. But Mei Mei must have seen how important I was to Mahito because that very day, he whisked me away.
I feel so sorry about Yu, I hope he finds an omega who can make him happy. He was so sweet and bubbly. I am going to miss him, but this is my new home now. It’s not the snowy mountain I thought I would be, but Que Sara Sara. Whatever will be will be, the future is not ours to see. Kenjaku says that to Jogo when he’s in his explosive episodes. Luckily, the snowy terrain keeps his heat to a minimum, lest he burn the entire north down!
I hope your journey has been kind to you. Mahito had said you looked like sh-t the last time he spoke to you. I asked him how he knew, and he told me it was through a connection spell! I would love to try it, but must I have to see you first before I can use such a spell? How unfortunate! If I could link with you, I would call you all day long! Ah, but you'd probably get so tired of me! I must be taking up way too much of your time with this letter. I'm so sorry for writing so much.
Love, Dove
P.S. Mahito read my letter and laughed at me for my lack of understanding sarcasm. I don't know if he's just picking on me or if I really didn't use it correctly. Please let me know.

"...This isn't necessarily a bad letter..." Getou clicked his tongue. Having finished, he passed it to Toji, Gojo, and Sukuna, who were still reading.
"...No...it's not..." Nanami murmured.
Toji shook his head, waving the paper as Gojo tried to read it. "No- We shouldn't give this to her."
"Stop moving it-" Gojo snatched the paper so he could get a better look. His eyes scanned rapidly as he mouthed the final words quietly. "Why?" He looked up with a raised brow.
"This might make her want to go save her. She's already dealing with one problem right now." Toji stated. "Sukuna, you know this note will make her worry about Dove."
"I mean, you aren't wrong." Sukuna shrugged, "So, what you want to hold this from her until we get her home so you can lock her up in her room?"
"I did not say that." Toji hissed.
"Not mad at it Toji, just being real here."
"Wait, but why would this be a bad note? Dove didn't say anything bad in this." Gojo questioned.
Getou was the one to inform, "It's not that she didn't write anything bad in the note, it's about the lack of. Mahito could have been looking over her shoulder the entire time she wrote this.”
“She confirmed it in her post note.” Nanami pointed out.
“Yes, she did. You really think he'd let her send something that would slander him?"
"Sure..." Gojo dralwed, "...but we can't hide this letter from her forever. That doesn't seem right."
"Not forever." Toji corrected. "Just until we get her grounded. We are already going to the Omega home, which I still disagree with. I don't want anything else to antagonize her mind. You all could at least give me this."
"Fuck it. Let him have this, but if the princess finds out her daddy was hiding a letter from her girlfriend, I don't want to hear it." Toji glared at Sukuna as the alpha passed him the note, "Here, you hold on to it."
Before Toji could grab it, Nanami had intercepted it, "I was more concerned about the comment about Mahito seeing her. When did he see her?" Nanami examined that section. Perhaps he saw it wrong.
Getou leaned his head to the side as he reread over the blonde's shoulder, "It seems Dove is referring to their call..."
"Oh, the first time they linked?" Gojo nodded.
"...Yes..." Getou's agreement wasn't very confident. He rubbed his chin, wondering if that was what Dove was referring to. Some questions didn't align with that statement. Such as why would Mahito tell Dove about a call that he erased from your mind? Could you have spoken with Mahito after your first call?
"It's not like she wouldn't tell us if she spoke to Mahito." Gojo snorted.
"She would tell us. He must be talking about the first time they linked. She was distraught during that call, remember... he made her cry." Toji stated, just as the others came over to them.
"Ready to go." Choso commented.
"Good. We need you guys to understand that our omega is going through a difficult time." Nanami began. "We do not wish for her to know about this letter at the moment, so please do not tell her."
Yuji looked worried, "Was it something bad?"
"No. It wasn't, it's just a task that we don't want her focusing on right now. Not until we get her some medicine to help calm her down."
Choso looked as though he wanted to ask about the details of said letter, but he didn't say anything. He was not well integrated in the pack; if they wanted him to know, they wouldn't have shooed him away when they read it. He had to pick and choose his battles.
~
Toji had carried you while riding his horse. You slept through the travel, even as they were attacked. Nothing seemed to wake you up, unless it was the ghostly cries of the pups. You'd flinch awake and then slowly nod back to sleep with some soft sobbing.
It wasn't until they got across the great bridge...
You let out a whine, holding your body as you shivered violently.
"What's wrong baby?" Toji questioned.
"It's..." Your teeth chattered; you could barely talk.
"Let's take a break here Nanami!" Getou called. He didn't want to move too quickly to where all your symptoms attacked you at once.
"C-cold..." You were able to get out.
"Build her a fire." Toji demanded hopping off his horse he held you with one arm and tried to dig into his inventory with the other.
"Sit, I'll get her blanket." Sukuna nodded.
"Thanks..." Toji sat with you curled in his lap while Gojo was moving fast to get a fire burning.
You were soon wrapped in two blankets, and the fire was crackling. It soothed you, but only a little. You were still trembling, and now and again, a painful cold would shock your body. You hissed through clenched teeth.
"We got her tent set up." Getou commented slightly out of breath from moving as quickly as he could. Choso had assisted him.
"No, I'll hold her." Toji spoke up for anyone to listen to his command, "Get me some food and water."
"Wouldn't it be better to put her in her nest?" Choso commented.
Toji glared at the beta, "Stop speaking to me like you know what's best for my omega."
Getou coughed a bit in his hand, "Wouldn't it be better to put her in her nest?" He restated with a raised brow.
That had Toji scowling, "Sh-she needs to eat and drink something."
Sukuna came over with some small berries while Nanami brought a leather flask.
Toji rubbed your chin gently, "Baby, try to eat something please."
Your other alpha pushed the fruit to your lips, but you groaned, turned your head with a frown, and a displeased "Hm..."
Sukuna looked at Toji without a word. He knew the big oaf was losing it, so he was trying to follow his lead so he could feel better. But he doubted you were going to eat anything until they could get you something to settle your ailments.
Toji swallowed nervously and grabbed your face with just a bit more force and desperation, "Just a little. Come on sweetheart." He peeled your lips apart so Sukuna could push the food to your teeth, the berry had popped, the juice tainted your taste buds, You let out a blegh- pushing the food away with you tongue and moving your head back and forth.
"Baby stop-" Toji tried to hold you still, but you pushed both of them and flipped in his arms as you began to dry heave.
Your alpha could only hold you with so much sorrow screwed on his face as your body rejected whatever little spec you got into your mouth.
"This isn't working, just put her in her nest!” Gojo whined.
"Try the water at least." Toji reached for the flask, taking a swig of it before turning your face so he could give you some water.
You whined against his lips but otherwise drank the water with no issues.
"So water is good..." Nanami commented, "At least..."
It was the only little hope they could hold on to. At least you were able to drink water. But you wouldn't drink it yourself, Toji had to keep giving it to you by mouth. Once he was satisfied, he finally put you into your nest to sleep some more.
"Do you want us to find Lady Shoko?" Yuji questioned your quiet alphas.
"...I have already sent word to her. When we hear back, then we can devise a plan to meet." Nanami sighed.
"Considering that we barely crossed the bridge, I don't think moving her any further would do any good." Megumi commented.
"I-" Your blonde began to speak, but then a bird tweeted excitedly, flying into the cave. Nanami shot up swiftly, "This is the bird I sent to Shoko."
"That came back fast! She must not be far!” Gojo spoke excitedly.
Nanami opened up the letter and read out loud, "Dear, Nanami Kento. I am headed east from the Omega Home and will be in Aika tomorrow. If you wish for me to treat your Omega, please meet me here. From Doctor Shoko Ieiri."
"Oh, thank Tengen." Gojo smiled happily, "That's not far from us at all!"
"Yes, but we cannot go into Aika; she's not going to want to go there." Getou wanted to be excited, but there was still a gloomy cloud.
Yuji was the one to catch on before the others, "Hey- uh…That's Junpei's hometown..." His partner rubbed his back as his head fell in shame. They could smell his scent become damp.
If this were already affecting Yuji, it would definitely affect you.
It was an understanding among them all.
"But... we still need to see Shoko. I suppose we can stay on the outskirts of the town. Ask the doctor to meet us away from the others..." Nanami suggested.
"It will have to do." Sukuna stated. "We have to go that way anyway, we will just move around Aika."
Everyone nodded, agreeing to the plan.
Your pack stayed in the cave, taking turns to keep watch and collecting things that you'd probably tell them to collect. You always liked to grab everything in sight. You were a hoarder but they had found that having extra materials had been a blessing.
So even though you didn't tell them to gather things...they did it anyway...it just made things feel kind of normal...
Choso was helping mine the crystal rocks, that's when Gojo had approached him.
The beta looked over his shoulder as he hit the boulder repeatedly without breaking stride, "Can I help you?"
Gojo looked to be contemplating what he was about to say then he uttered, "Why? Why is Mahito and your father doing all of this?"
"All of what?"
"Hurting people? Turning people into monsters."
That had Choso halting, wiping the sweat from his forehead. Gojo was angry, and right now, he was the only one to represent those he was mad at. "Mahito does it because he can, I never agreed with that. But my father does it because...Well, I don't know anymore...I thought he was doing it for the greater good."
"...What greater good? If he is against Tengen and the witches, then what the hell? What is his motive?"
Choso took a moment to think about it, "...He said the angels and witches lie. That's all he would ever give me. He never told me why. But maybe that's because I was never his son... " He absently touched upon his chest where his star mark is. "...I don't know if I was being used or not. But Raven believes I am."
"That's not her name." Gojo stated a bit hotly. "We only call her that around others."
Choso furrowed his brows, "Why does that bother you? What if they are the same person? Because the Raven I knew and the woman now are not much different... they both believed my father was evil for whatever reason."
"...So you don't know how to turn people back from being a monster?" Gojo changed the subject.
"…If I had known- Ngh- I would have already given it to her- ngh-!." Chose spoke while getting back to hacking at the rocks.
“You really like her..." Gojo meant for the statement to come out nicer than it did. It almost sounded like he was disgusted- which he shouldn't be because you are amazing but still...
"I've told you all before-” He paused again to entertain your alpha, “I would do anything for her. My life is given to her. So are you going to enlighten me as to why and how Raven and Y/n think my father is the villain or avoid the subject again?”
Gojo's nose scrunched up in annoyance. He looked away from him, neglecting to answer but answering all the same.
The beta snorted, "Didn't think so." Choso swung the picaxe, but Gojo didn't move away just yet.
The alpha shifted ready for his next question, "Why didn't you want to go to Mei Mei's? I thought you'd be happy if she remembered you?"
This was a simple answer for Choso. "Nope-ah-would rather her forget- the pain-ha."
"Are you sure it's not because our omega doesn't mind you in our pack unlike Raven? There’s a difference.” Gojo added with a flair of ‘gotcha’ sass.
That had Choso faltering, pickaxe missing its mark completely with a heavy clink. "What are you accomplishing with this conversation?" There was a bit more bite to his tone, the venom he tried desperately to hide seeping out.
"Just wondering." Gojo shrugged innocently, finding this button Sukuna had given him quite interesting. Maybe he was a little pissed at Choso for reasons that aren't truly his fault. He doesn't like your attention being drawn to someone else, and he doesn't like the people in Choso’s villainous pack up north causing you so many issues, AND he doesn't like the fact that Choso knew you before he knew you. And he had a relationship with you, even though it was one-sided. So was he taking out his frustration on Choso? Absolutely. "I hope you know you are opening all of these." At least he's not killing him right?
"Already expected to."
"So you will just do anything I say just because you want to be in our pack? I know my omega is beautiful and amazing, but damn, this is kind of pathetic."
"...Are you…trying to say she's not worth it?"
Gojo gasped at how his own attempt at a jab was thrown right back at him. "She is! She's worth this and more!"
"So then I ask again, what is the purpose of this conversation? It's going nowhere and is manaless." Choso readied the pickaxe.
"Get back to work!” Gojo pointed, even though Choso was already in motion.
The beta rolled his eyes but didn't gripe about anything else.
The white-haired alphed glared but he was feeling nice...being mean was really helping his frustration. He can get used to this.
"Time to head out!" Getou called.
Choso stopped to gather his and Gojo's collections of rocks. As the two passed by the other alpha, Getou grabbed Gojo's shoulder and waited for Choso to leave.
With a tight lip and eyes smiling, Getou said, "Don't try to steal my servant."
Gojo snorted, "Isn't he technically supposed to be the pack's beta?"
"I got him first."
"I need something to distract me right now."
"Go find a different hobby."
"I'm gonna tell Nanami."
"Snitch."
"I love you too, buddy."
~
Getou paced back and forth in front of your nest. They had made it to Aika, but you had nosedived greatly. You weren't all there and slipped into a distant mindset, what makes matters worse, another symptom had attacked you. One that was a surprise to them all. You had started phasing in and out of your shadow form in random areas. At times, your arm would go through their grip, or your hair would turn into shadowy mist. They set up camp immediately and didn't go any further, sending the betas to retrieve the doctor.
Now they were left waiting...
Sukuna sat on a fallen tree, poking at the fire while Toji mushed food down in a grinder. He was hoping Shoko would give you something to help you eat. This would probably be a better first choice than trying to get you to eat something whole. And it gave him something to do, so he didn't freak out any more than he is.
You smelled worse.
They were all trying to distract themselves as they had to sit around, unable to help you. So helpless…It was an awful feeling....
Nanami wrote down all his questions and concerns for the doctor and any other information she might need. Truthfully, he wrote down way too much and kept writing. He couldn't stop writing.
Gojo was keeping watch, eyes unblinking. Until-
"She's-She's coming!" The white-haired alpha called, disappearing in a flash.
Not even ten minutes later did Shoko and Choso appear. Choso was carrying her bag full of things while Gojo bombarded her with word vomit.
"Hey Doc- great to see you- you look lovely-can you help our omega-you can help her right?"
"Gojo gojo." The woman cut him off while slipping her cigarette out of her mouth, "By the dragons, do you not take any of the herbs I give you?"
"No..." Gojo pursed his lips. "They make me feel weird."
"You mean they make you feel normal?" Shoko smirked, making the alpha blush and pout.
"I am who I am, and my omega loves me for who I am."
"That's beautiful. I'm sure you are very worried about her, but don't worry, Satoru, your beta had already updated me on what's going on."
Shoko walked into camp as the alphas stood in respect, bowing their heads to her.
"Shoko, it's great to see you. Thank you for coming out of your inn to meet us." Nanami greeted the doctor with a handshake. "Where's Yuji and Megumi?" He questioned Choso.
"They stayed behind, said they'd come later."
Nanami nodded and returned his attention to the doctor, "I apologize for the inconvenience. We just didn't know what to do. She started using curse energy at random, and we didn't want to move her anymore."
"I'll just make you pay for the extra cigarettes it took me to get out here." Shoko didn't show any sign of worry as she ashed her cigarette and slipped it back into her mouth. “Let me see her.”
"We will pay anything- Baby, the doctor is here." Toji alerted before opening your tent.
You didn't make any sound of acknowledgment; you were curled inside your nest, holding a pillow tight to your chest while whimpering, rocking, and sweating. The blanket had been kicked off you. You were only wearing your bra and panties; it looked as though you tore your dress off.
"Sweetheart? Are you not cold?" Nanami questioned. falling to his knees he swiftly tried to drag the blanket over your bare arms. But you pushed his hand away.
"Hot...cold...both..."
"Cold sweats." Shoko hummed in surprise. Pulling on her gloves she set to examine you. Your other alphas crowd behind her. You let out a painful groan as she poked you around your scent glands. "Swollen glands…” She frowned with pity, “ And you said she was not bonded with the pups?" She questioned still in shock.
"No ma'am." Nanami stated.
"We traveled with the pups to Shapuro and have recently left them with their grandmother...." Getou added more info. "...Even though she didn't bond with them, she still exhibits signs of a dam separated from her very own pups."
"Yes, I see." The doctor nodded, "Your omega must be emotionally sensitive."
"We know." They said in unison, making Shoko snort.
She dug into her pocket to pull out a flashlight, and then she peeled open each of your lids as she flashed the light into your eyes.
You groaned, moving away from her, "Stop-alphas- where's my alphas-"
"Right here...
"...We are right here, little bird."
Toji climbed in next to you as Nanami got on the other side. They cuddled close and purred softly as Shoko continued to look over you.
It took the doctor a minute or two longer to finish her physical exam, and then she tried to ask you questions. "Honey? Do you know your name?"
"...N-Name...?"
Your alphas looked nervous-
"Yes, your name?"
"W-We don't have to do that." Getou cut in swiftly. “As you can see, she is not in a good headspace. If you could just give us something to help her, that would be greatly appreciated."
Shoko noticed the protectiveness and didn't attempt to push anymore. "Alright... Do you want my assessment here or do you want to move away?”
“We want to stay right here with her.” Toji murmured placing his chin upon your head. You were holding on to him and Nanami so tightly that they didn't want to move.
“Ok…well, your omega is not only displaying signs of a grieving dam, but she is also showing symptoms of a dropping omega-"
"What?"
"What do you mean?!"
“Impossible!”
“How?!”
"Calm. Down." Shoko looked at them with a stern expression. "Getting riled up is not going to help her at all. I said she was showing symptoms, but she's not dropping."
"How?” Nanami echoed his question again, “Most dams that lose their pups experience phantom cries and tiredness among other things.”
“Are these not typical signs of that? Her scent smells bad but it doesn't smell like a dying omega?" Toji spoke softly but swiftly. Concern laced in each word.
"Yes...I know. These are all symptoms of such but they do not sleep this much. I believe it is her defense mechanism. Instead of mental suicide, her body is choosing to just...sleep. Truthfully, I have never seen an omega do this." She shrugged lightly.
"Yes, our omega is different. We know that -how do we help her?" Sukuna urged.
"Have you guys tried to give her Husho?"
The others looked toward Getou.
"My magic pen went down the drain. I don't have it anymore!"
"No wonder he's been so grumpy."
“Hey-”
"Husho is not going to help. She needs something stronger." Choso called from the back. He was way out of the camp. He, too, had been getting antsy and didn't want his scent to set off your alphas.
Shoko looked at your men, "Do you agree with that, alphas?"
"He would know..." Nanami murmured to the others. "Give her something stronger doctor."
"Didn't you say nothing worked before?" Gojo questioned Choso.
"Different situations. She's not dying from a curse.”
Shoko looked at everyone else before moving forward. They all gave her some sort of nod or approval, then she went to her bag.
"This is something that I give to omegas who have dropped..." She spoke as she began to fix her medicine. "...It's going to cost you a pretty rock..."
"Whatever it takes." Nanami gestured for Gojo to get the money.
"Can you also give me another magic pen-"
"GETOU!"
"I need my medicine too!"
