DESCRIPTION

Our group swiftly went into action. Nemesis knocked the makeshift metal table aside, with it slamming into a wall before charging through a group of clones. Pitou and Maul both pinballed around the room, a storm of limbs breaking the clones against them.

Solution was a slithering, unpredictable form as she moved silently around, taking out the clones either through acid or poison or just crushing them with brute strength and cutting them. HK with the cloak still over him with his second new favorite toy as Doc Ock's tentacles raised him up high, and he just started blasting.

My six bodies formed from the combat variant of my Hatsu the -- Crown of The Undying Beast: The Hidden Throne. The group of bodies split into teams of two composed of three bodies each.

Shadow balls impacted squads, gusts of powerful winds swept through the corridors and slammed the soldiers into everything. They were in full retreat, incapable of putting up any kind of fight even with the heavy firepower and flamethrowers they tried to put to use. It was a good thing I had the others stay with me in Kamui when we exited hyperspace.

The mission sounded like a trap, and low and behold, it was, which was made rather obvious when Pitou’s puppets helped tip us off. This planet was one of the Republic's few remaining footholds in the outer rim. They would be foolish to let it go, and Palpatine likely wants us gone. My showing of what had to be in his eyes a major Force power only a Sith could use would have pushed for this type of reaction.

Sidious probably was hoping they would take me alive so he could force me into telling him how to use the power. Fat chance of that happening. One of the body's senses, like all the others, was shared with me as its Sharingan was active. It dodged and leapt back from the clones using flamethrowers. Various hand signs were performed while leaping from wall to wall before the final seal was completed and a wave of fire rushed out to the clone's horror.

Their screams and cries of pain ended when they were all quickly killed to ease their suffering with quick slashes of lightning forming from another’s hands. Guilt formed in my heart at the charred bodies before me, but it was smothered when a single glimpse of a flamethrower made it fall apart.

War crimes indeed.

Two other bodies joined it with the howling of wind, turning the corridor into a wind tunnel that sucked the clones away, slamming them into various walls and debris. The other grew in size, the muscles expanding to comical levels before they got into a runners stance charged at three of them who fired a trio of missiles.

A blood-red figure formed briefly around the body before the missiles blew up upon contact. The fire and smoke lasted for a second before the clones were smacked around, denting the walls with their bodies before they even realized what had happened.

A group of clones ran through a dark hallway firing back behind them. One of them screamed when a metal appendage on a tentacle dragged him off into the dark.

One turned about to go back. “Leave him. We need to get out- ahhh!” He was cut off when a blade impaled him from behind. The group was whittled down along with other clones in the section of the ship they found themselves in.

“Observation: I was led to believe clones were taught by Mandalorians and were cloned from their Mandalore. I am deeply dissapointed.”

The droid's voice came from everywhere for the clones. “Show yourself! If you're so sure you can handle us then why hide in the dark?” One of them taunted back, angry at the loss of all their brothers.

HK-47 could be heard moving both with his normal servos in his legs and the gift that was given to him. “Informative statement: I already have you handled.”

The clones all turned in time to each get blaster bolts to the face, killing all of them when HK dropped from above and managed to get in the middle of their group.

It didn’t even take a minute before the clones in the ship had been handled. Some were alive, others not. It depended entirely on who they were faced with.

Pitou and Maul both used their newly gained Thunder Breathing to boost themselves to never before seen heights. Pitou was powerful already, but with the Thunder Breathing, she became a living blur. That was if you could even see that. Her lightsaber cut through many of them, and she was already onto the next group before their bodies had already fallen to the ground.

I had to restrain myself from playing the next song because it was too early to play it now. I had the whole thing planned out, especially when I knew a large fleet and a metric shit ton of Jedi with none other than Mace Windu himself leading this operation were coming. My various eyes could see the entirety of the ship and outside of it. With Byakkugan active, I noted the modifications it had undergone. Multiple redundancies made it far more durable, and despite the damage done, it could still be somewhat active even now.

The ships had even exceeded my expectations. Though I was also thankful for the common sense and foresight to keep everyone, myself included, in the Kamui dimension just in case while letting what droids we had on them pilot the ships. The ships could survive mostly intact, I didn’t want to test our durability against such odds.

When the ship crashed on top of the base I just plopped everyone down inside the ship after moving across the alien dimension then used my variant of my base Hatsu. With Kamui, and even without it, I created six copies, the restriction placed on me enough that the powers locked off from my main body were easily far stronger than they were normally.

A restriction that I cannot leave the spot I summoned my copies from. Of course, Kamui helped a lot with rules lawyering that little detail. Combined with the fact each copy was allowed three powers of my choosing, and I couldn’t use the selected powers from my original body.

The second best part, I could dismiss or summon them at will, no timer to worry about. The best part… well, it’s always best to leave a spare lying around somewhere. You can never be too sure of what the future holds, and I rather have an extra ace up my sleeve just in case.

The energy maintenance to maintain said copies was practically gone, regardless of distance. On top of that, my powers were much stronger than they normally were. The only reason I even noticed was because I had trained with so many of them by this point, I knew them well enough to notice the difference.

They weren’t an entire tier higher than their rarity, but it was enough to know whoever was on the receiving end wasn’t going to be having a good time.

Through Byakkugan with its increased range of the one Crown remaining in the cargo bay I could see all of the Republic drop ships coming in, the walkers being offloaded, way too many clones, and then of course, the Jedi. Led by Mace Windu himself who watched the ship warily before pausing his eyes moving around in search of something.

Could he sense me watching them? They all began to stir, as if they knew someone was watching them. Interesting… Then my gaze snapped to the blue bomb shell wearing clothes that most certainly were not your standard Jedi robes. A brown leather top that exposed her mid riff with matching tight pants.

Letting out an appreciative wolf whistle in Kamui because, hot damn, she was a walking bomb shell. Some of the other female Jedi of various species didn’t help with their robes somewhat tight in some areas and the rain pouring out of the sky.

Something they all watched with interest since Quell was a rather inhospitable planet and rain was not in the forecast for this part of the planet. The ground greedily soaked all the rain up quickly turning to mud.

Then came the mist. It was thick and billowed out fresh from the smoke stack that was the ship. Windue gestured to some of the clones and gave out orders. To my surprise various fans were deployed that worked just fine under the downpour of rain that blew the mist away with some of the Jedi helping.

The dome of mist was kept at bay outside of the shield emanating from the ship swirling around like the eye of a hurricane. So they came prepared. Good. It shows they were learning. They weren’t a completely lost cause incapable of adapting or changing.

The clones inside of the ship were mostly taken care of, except for Maul, who was taking his time and figuring out his newfound strength, both from the breathing technique and the Force. Those clones were also making him work for it as best they could, narrow corridors and explosives with flamethrowers were the only thing saving the majority of them from his crimson saber staff.

He had made himself another lightsaber before we came here and so far was putting it to good use. Acrobatic Ataru moves were used to pinball around the narrow corridors, and the few that managed to predict his flight path were injured when Soresu was employed with its defensive techniques.

Then when he got close to a group elements of Shii-Cho were used in fast wide sweeping arcs slicing down their weapons to pieces and in some cases disarming the clones who wouldn’t give up. All of whom were still alive.

Maul, like most of the others, had been given explicit orders to not kill anyone unless he had no other options at hand. The exceptions to this rule were Nemesis and HK-47. Both of whom would possibly listen to that tidbit, but I decided to throw the two of them a bone. Nemesis had been training nonstop to develop his Hatsu, and HK had been chewing at the bit just to kill something that could fight back properly.

Maul accepted the reasoning that it showed his superiority. Killing is too easy and quick, if he wants to flex and show his true might, do so while keeping them alive showing he was holding back and how far they were from having any chance of defeating him.

His grasp of Form VI, Niman, had grown quite a bit, even if compared to me and Pitou, it looked like it was wielded by a rank amateur. Not that Maul was bad with the form, far from it. It’s just Pitou and I were on another level entirely from him. Something I think he was well aware of and made him try that much harder, especially when I encouraged it.

With Maul having his fun and the rest of us taking care of the clones inside of the ship it was time we made our entrance.

“Form up.” My voice came out of one body with the others sans Maul near my five bodies. One raised its hand, and a crackling shadow ball sprang to life, flying towards the outer hull and blowing up. Fire and smoke rushed towards us with Nemesis standing in front of HK as the fire and debris washed over us.

A tide of flame came and went with the debris raining like confetti and streamers. We all leapt out, slamming into the muddy ground, all standing side by side. My dueling body moved forward. The rain and wind that picked up out of nowhere whipped my cloak about dramatically as Windu narrowed his eyes at me.

The clones and their tanks and various vehicles had every single mounted weapon aimed in my and the others' direction.

“I must admit, I am rather shocked that the acting Grandmaster of the current Jedi Order has come for me personally… what do I owe the pleasure?” I said loud enough for everyone to hear, the wind manipulated in such a way to carry my voice to all of them.

“For starting a galactic war, threatening the Republic, and countless lives killed, and above all else, the Sith Lord we have been searching for,” He said with a deep frown with his hand flexing, looking ready to grab his lightsaber and to just start hacking me to pieces.

I lifted my head up, revealing the iconic mask of Revan I had that each of my bodies had copied when created. They wear what I wear. Convenient.

I let out a deep throaty chuckle. “Really? Now… that’s kind of funny, because if you had any brain cells to rub together, why would I, this supposed Sith Lord who orchestrated this entire conflict, step out into the open? There’s so many holes in the belief I am the monster you seek, that if you simply thought about it, you would realize that’s not the case.”

“If that was the case, it changes nothing. Not that I or anyone else believes you. Surrender and we will-”

His words were cut off when Maul decided then and there to pull up at the worst time. A clone got a little too close with the flamethrower, and knowing we were about to engage the Jedi and Republic forces, he didn’t want to miss out, so instead of running back to avoid the spout of flames, he instead force pushed the wave of fire, and the nearby rockets fired at him, blowing up the wall of the ship.

He blurred forward in a mad rush, moving through the flame fast enough that it didn’t have time to properly burn him when combined with a barrier made from the Force. His leg muscles bulged, and with a leap, he burst through the flames licking away at him and soared high up in the air.

He spun midair and ripped off his flaming cloak, with the shirt ripped off in the process, exposing his red and black muscled upper body and his face. He landed with a wet splash, sending rain and mud flying before slowly rising up off the ground, smiling up at Windu.

Despite my main body being safe in Kamui, I had hoped Maul would keep the cloak on. My heart may as well have plummeted into the black abyss beneath me.

Aw shit.

Windu and every Jedi present tensed when they looked at Maul. Everyone knew who he was. How could they not? He was the first Sith they had seen in over a thousand years, killed a powerful Jedi, and was believed to be dead.

I pointed at Maul. “That doesn’t count.”

“It’s over. The reign of the Sith will never return.” Mace Windu was all business, his purple lightsaber igniting, its hum filling the air alongside the hiss of the rain delivering kisses to the purple blade as steam rose up from the embrace.

“Hmmmmmm… maybe or maybe not. Depends on if you're going to keep holding the idiot ball.” Was all that was said before everyone exploded into action.

Then the music kicked on courtesy of my sixth body hitting the music player. Glad I splurged a little and got some musicians to make some songs with me at the castle.

The music began to play.

The sound of my cover of Disturbed’s song Open Your Eyes filled the air with the clones opening fire. Walkers fired everything they had, any LAAT gunships in the air unloaded entire missile salvos. All of the clones fire heavy repeating blasters and missiles from their launchers. Not a single one of them wasn’t shooting at us.

The scouting body with a mental flex sent a wall of mud high into the air with the heavy blaster fire and explosive ordinance impacting the solid wall of mud. Fire and wet brown slop rained down from the wall getting blown apart.

The Quiet Hand had already moved with the wall obscuring us. A pink Twi’lek Jedi folded under a kick to her stomach by Pitou before she spun midair and sent another flying when their blades clashed. Pitou had a big shit-eating grin across her face, with her eyes as wide as saucers. She pinballed across the battlefield, and each impact sent Jedi and clones alike flying away.

Nemesis and my other muscle enhanced body charged towards a walker, its cannon aimed at both of us and fired. The orb of energy detonated upon reaching us and before the smoke and fire had a chance to fully swarm the space we already rushed out of it. The body’s muscles swelled, growing larger and larger until the cloak was about ready to rip apart.

The armored Susanoo was no longer skeletal or flesh and blood, the red ghostly apparition was armored. Plates not unlike those of a medieval knight formed around it. Their feet were cannons, thundering across the muddy ground, upturning mud and water and crushing rocks to dust.

Both slammed into the same walker, crushing it and caving it into the mud. The various clones tried their best to gun both down, but it meant little when faced with Nemesis’ absurd Ten and my Susanoo. I saw no need to use Ten just yet. Blaster fire washed harmlessly over us before we began to clobber them.

No form or fighting style necessary when a single grazing blow was enough to send them flying away. Both unstoppable juggernaut’s kept the majority of the clones' attention ensuring the others could do what they wanted.

HK himself picked a walker up partially off the ground and tipped it over before firing away in wild abandon, each seemingly careless shot precalculated and hitting their mark. Clones fell in droves and any time one of them lined up a shot the mechanical tentacles he put too good use leaning just enough out of the way while firing his Malorian pistol I gave him.

The clones were turned to chunks of meat as he leapt and moved across the battlefield as the pistol was put through its paces. Solution was enjoying herself with a wide creepy smile as she slashed out with blade appendages and used the mud and water to hide beneath and stalked them from below.

Maul himself was ecstatic. His smile nearly matched Pitou’s. He clashed against Aayla Secura and a man I vaguely recognized with a yellow mark on his face with dread locks. He was handling them with ease as seven other Jedi joined them, the lightsaber strikes lighting up the darkened landscape with the rainbow of colors.

He moved between strikes, muscles coiled tightly in anticipation, countering and defending when necessary with no effort put into any of it. When he went onto the offensive, he became a hurricane of red and black. Not a single one of them, even when grouped together, could land a blow on him, yet all of his strikes when he found openings landed.

Blocking a decapitation strike without even looking followed up by a vicious roundhouse kick that broke another’s jaw sending them tumbling into the mud. Lightsaber lashed out taking another’s hand sending it skidding into the mud, but despite the grievous wounds he left on the Jedi, none of them were dead. He relished in his superiority and newfound power.

Slamming a knee into Aayla’s gut, knocking her back, the dreadlocks guy caught her, and with four other Jedi, the six together threw a group force push that sent mud and rain blasting backward. Maul rushed forward, his hand outstretched, and with his eyes widening and his grin growing, his own attack met theirs, and for a moment time seemed to freeze. Then the world around them shattered.

A crater formed under the point of impact between the invisible forces warring against one another. Mud and rock were sent flying away in a tsunami, rain was batted aside, the tears of the heavens above were disregarded before this brutal clash, and the victor was revealed when the Jedi were knocked aside, their bodies battered, slamming into the surroundings.

One of my bodies gathered the nearby water after having called the rainstorm down upon us all, and the water followed my arms and gestures, a liquid snake abiding by the piper’s commands. The Jedi, unconscious or not, were caught in multiple liquid tendrils before I, with a squeeze of my hands, turned the water into ice. The only thing not covered by the meter-thick bindings that covered the entirety of their bodies was their heads.

The body, using the senses from the others, especially my Byakkugan scout, dodged and evaded the blaster fire even when its eyes couldn’t see the strike coming, shielding itself from the blaster bolts that couldn’t be avoided by using the water coalesced into a thin sheet that the blaster bolts detonated prematurely upon contact.

The water under its feet was used to propel it forward, gliding along the ground like a bird of prey hunting across the surface of a stormy sea. Some clones were lifted up and whipped with water tendrils, others had limbs encased in ice.

Mace Windu himself was the only one out of all the gathered Jedi, besides maybe Ki-Adi-Mundi who was doing surprisingly well against Pitou. Every other Jedi who she had set her sights on was currently in the mud struggling to get back up with various broken limbs.

My other bodies all acted according to the powers given to them. The scout with Byakkugan used my control over mud to manhandle the clones not currently getting their bodies broken by Nemesis and my juggernaut body. The chidori and shadow ball copies focused on anti armor taking out the various walkers.

The tendrils of mud rose up and snagged any clones thinking they were about to get a shot off to take one of us out. It was surprisingly few with the battlefield turned into absolute pandemonium. It was a symphony of destruction.

The wall of sound that was the blaster fire, grenades, flamethrowers, even rocket launchers added to the decibels where individual voices were lost amidst the sea of sound. The sound was followed by a surging wave of adrenaline, the clones and Jedi caught up in a frantic terrifying momentum with their bodies rushing towards us only to get broken and crushed beneath our heels.

Then the air began to shriek with the sound of a thousand birds as a chidori crackled to life, turning the air into a jagged cage of light. My body charged towards a group of AT-TEs, a mountain range of alloy. But with the blue glow of the chidori it made my body into a meteor, slicing clean through their hardened exterior. I danced between the walkers transforming into a spear of blue fire.

The chidori sliced through armored joints as easily as a wire through wax. Sliding between the legs of each of them, my body was already moving past them, zigzagging with the explosive power in my legs. In the wake left behind, the legs of each walker were sheared cleanly in two, causing them to groan and collapse. Each usage of the Chidori left behind melted, divided, and, above all else, broken mountains of metal.

Windu rushed to engage the one body that remained standing before him, a blue blade ignited and held in a reverse grip. The others had their masks hidden, but this one’s mask was shown, and Windu’s eyes narrowed even more, more like the eyes of a serpent than those of a man’s.

“That mask and droid… You can’t be.” He said quietly, but it was louder to my ears than the chaos unfolding around us.

His lightsaber form was truly a marvel to witness with both my sharingan active, and the skill involving swordsmanship took it all in. Sun Breathing was used to close the gap when it came to the physical difference.

Vaapad was similar to my style when using Sun Breathing, no discernible pattern. Yet each blow fed into the next and the one after that and so on. He flowed from each strike, never stopping, always on the move, and the thing that garnered my interest was he was getting stronger as the seconds passed.

What had been seemingly five strikes from multiple different directions each second turned to eight, then twelve and it just continued to grow. The man was a whirlwind with no sign of slowing or stopping. Yet despite his skill and growing power with his lightsaber form, I matched it and even pressured him.

Nothing that would end the fight even if I wanted to. No true openings that could let me disarm or kill him, the Sharingan helped observe his incredible speed, and Sun Breathing helped me move fast enough to keep up and have enough strength to not get overpowered. The combined unpredictability of Sun Breathing's fighting style with Niman helped even the playing field, forcing Windu to double down on his offense, foregoing any defense.

I idly wondered if he didn’t feel confident remaining on the defensive as Niman was put to use probing for any weak points in his form's armor, using various stances and techniques but pulling back in time before he could take a part of me in the process. Windu wasn’t the only one feeling the pressure from this clash.

He was forcing me to use more and more for this fight than I had any other besides my spars with Pitou. We moved across the muddy ground, any Jedi attempting to assist him either dismantled and taken down by my other bodies, especially my scout one using the mud and wind to their advantage.

“Most impressive.” I said in between clashes of our blades. “And last I checked, when were you the expert on what could or couldn’t be possible? Is it so difficult to fathom that I survived all this time?”

His blade slammed into mine and made me skid back before my other body reinforced the mud, allowing me to remain standing and push back when the ground Windu stood on was made difficult to stay upright.

“If you truly are Revan, you were redeemed and saved the Republic. I know your story, so why help the Separatists?” He said with a heated glare moving through several almost unpredictable sequences that I matched with Niman.

My blue lightsaber began to have color shifts at the outer edge of the barrier that kept the blade contained. So that is happening now… good. I could use every advantage I could considering how difficult Windu was proving himself to be.

I didn’t think he would be easy to handle, let alone defeat, but now I was beginning to realize just how good the man was. Say what you will about his dogmatic and blind devotion towards the Republic and all things associated with it, but when it came to being a badass with a lightsaber, I think he has most people beat.

My mastery of Niman combined with Sun Breathing, the sensory sharing Hatsu, the powers this specific body had, all of that was keeping me in this fight. I know it wasn’t just Windu himself that was the problem… I remembered some things from Star Wars and of those things that came to the top of my head was Vaapad itself. It was an absolute pain to deal with.

Like playing a game against a friend who just spammed the most broken and annoying crap he could find in the game that was some of the most unbalanced bullshit you could fight.

That was Windu and, by extension, Vaapad itself. His strikes came from multiple different angles, fast, strong, and incredibly difficult to predict. Even with the sharingan, it meant nothing if the body used against him couldn’t keep up. It’s why Sun Breathing, after having acquired sufficient mastery over it, was used in conjunction. Like everything else, these bodies were given powers that were boosted to higher levels. The powers normally didn’t have this much power as a baseline.

That and the other discovery. The lightsaber now had warm yellow spots forming along the outer edge of the containment field. Vaapad while in use didn’t just use the darkness of the adversary Mace Windu faced, it used the surrounding darkness in his vicinity to then funnel it through himself like a circuit and toss it towards whoever was on the receiving end.

It’s why I wasn’t feeling hatred or anger towards him, the closest you would get out of me is frustration. But the collective suffering and vortex of negative emotions around us had turned this place into the eye of a hurricane that he was weaponizing.

“That’s simple-- the Republic is rotten to its core. It needs to be purged for any good to come of it. That and I don’t like my name getting stained, even if it’s an old one I had long since abandoned. The current Sith Lord using my old plans is an intelligent idiot, whatever master plans he could make would end in disaster for himself and those around him.”

“Enough with the lies.” Windu broke the blade lock, and his hand snapped out in a lightning-quick push that was sidestepped, slamming into the mud and cratering it temporarily. With a flourish, we both moved across the muddy terrain, never once halting in our epic duel.

“It’s not a lie! I am not the Sith Lord you're after, nor do I view myself as one any longer, just as I am not a Jedi either. I have long since abandoned both titles.” Frustration bled into my tone while Mace Windu’s pressure began to wane, not from himself but from the glow that slowly crept into the lightsaber held in my hand.

Something Windu looked confused by. “If that is truly the case, then why do you have the Sith who killed Qui-Gon Jinn serving you? Your attempts at deceiving me are rather lacking.”

His strike had enough power behind it to easily carve right through the outer hull of a ship. Instead of sending me skidding or me redirecting the force behind the strike, my blade with Sun Breathing flowing into it cut through the channeled darkness.

Everything a part of the maelstrom of darkness he directed at me through his lightsaber form was cut in two. Shredded to fine confetti, the yellow glow grew alongside the outer edge encompassing it with the inner blue now a warm inviting color. Like a warm spring sky without a cloud surrounded by a sea of sunflowers.

My form shifted, encompassing more Sun Breathing into my usage of Niman, now matching Windu. He was still a threat, the second most challenging opponent I had faced until this point. Pitou was still at the top of that list, and honestly, I would think if the two dueled, it would be a difficult fight to guess who would win.

“Because I found him. His old master had abandoned him and he was left to rot. Now he is on the side of the angels trying to topple his former master, the same master you unknowingly and foolishly serve.”

Windu’s face may as well have been carved out of stone. “This war ends with you, if you truly are Revan. You were one of the inspirations I had to create my lightsaber form,” He said solemnly. “The story of how you fell was enough for me to acknowledge the darkness in me instead of ignoring it.”

“Oh? Well, I am glad that I could be of service to you, Padawan Windu.” I didn’t fail to notice one of his eyes twitch at the comment. “Let this humble master teach you what it means to use a lightsaber.”

“That’s Master to you.” He said calmly but the steel in his tone was made clear.

"Oh, I am sorry… Youngling Windu, is that better?” My sugary sweet tone earned me a glare that I shrugged off like everything else. If he thinks I am the Sith Lord, then he can get over it… I am saving him and the other idiots even if I have to save them from themselves!

“You’ll learn some respect, old man.” Windu countered back making me pause when I registered what he just said.

“Oh really? Well- Maul, don’t!” I yelled out just when Maul saw the situation, believing he had an opening to attack. Force pushing the Jedi with dreadlocks away, he bent low before rocketing towards us. Mace predicted the strike, and without even fully turning to face Maul, he casually blocked his strike.

Maul was put under an onslaught that he soon realized he was not prepared for. He fell back more on his defensive forms fused into Niman, but that was his big mistake. I hadn’t used defensive moves with Niman while fighting Windu simply because he would overwhelm them.

I only used a brief defensive technique but didn't wall up. The instant I do that is when he would dismantle me piece by piece. Niman was a Swiss Army knife, but it was only as good as the one who wielded it, but it was also best to use it as a means of taking your opponent apart and that didn’t mean playing entirely on defense.

My blows mixed with Sun Breathing helped take the worst of the pressure off of Maul who in wide eyed realization at that moment came to the conclusion Mace Windu wasn’t like the others. Windu went blow for blow against us with him just getting more powerful. Maul himself was struggling to withstand the force behind his strikes.

In comparison, I was a stable pillar, taking the worst that could be thrown towards me and shrugging it off. “Pitou, we could use some backup.” I said not because I needed the help but because Maul was getting owned and I wasn’t confident I could save him.

Pitou mid-kick launched a Jedi away and snapped the arm of another with her free hand and snapped her head towards us. She launched herself, and soon the three of us had Mace Windu trapped in a triangle of light.

Yet the man held his own, the pressure eased off of Maul who tried his best to assist us but he was easily the weakest link when he was struggling to keep up with the dozens upon dozens of blows exchanged in a matter of seconds.

Maul, seeing an opening from our clash, tried to capitalize only instead of cutting Windu’s legs off like he expected, the man leapt over both me and Pitou’s attacks and my follow up strike had been too slow. The man only needed a fraction of a second as the realization he had planned this hit me all at once.

He was upside down in midair, Pitou and I poised to strike him from both sides, and Maul not far behind. His hand held parallel to the ground, and what followed, I could only describe as a minor natural disaster, took form.

The ground cratered. One second it was mud, the next it was gone and replaced with a hole going down several meters in an instant. The mud and rain were sent rushing away in a tidal wave of slop. Clones and their machines were mostly safe, with the few Jedi left creating telekinetic barriers protecting them from getting swept away.

Pitou leapt away, jumping from several platforms made from mud that my scout body created for her. Maul did the same after my one body gave him a long hard look. He winced and bowed his head before backing off.

The others soon backed off as the unspoken signal came in loud and clear-- disengage.

“Know this Windu. I didn’t want it to be this way, but if your in my way, then you will be removed for the greater good. I have been many things in my life. Most of them you couldn’t even imagine.”

I spoke to the man who stood across from me on the other side of the crater he had created, the pseudo dark side nexus that formed around this area, swirling around us along with the chaos and destruction that this random chunk of land experienced, the wind whipping my cloak about.

“But today and going onwards… I will be a savior. Even if it means toppling the current Republic and hurting you and countless innocents to achieve it. Your stupidity may well have doomed far too many innocents.”

Before Windu could move to engage my bodies and the rest of the Quiet Hand, the others had gone back to the ship, and my bodies were dispersed.

The groans of pain and absolute carnage mixed with the kind of chaos that came from a battlefield strategy going to shit disappeared, and the only thing that could be seen was a great black expanse of the Kamui dimension.

Cracking my hands, knowing what time it was. “Time to get to work.”

The Republic won’t fix itself after all.
