Furina twirled her parasol dramatically, giving Lumine a mock pout. “You’re late, and you made me wait in this sun? Are you trying to sabotage my perfect complexion?”
Lumine smirked, tilting her head. “You look radiant, actually. Maybe a little sun suits you.”
Furina gasped, eyes narrowing playfully. “Flattery? Or are you distracting me from your tardiness?”
“I’d never dare,” Lumine replied, stepping closer. “But if distraction works... maybe I’ll try harder.”
Furina laughed, her cheeks flushed just slightly. “You’re lucky I like troublemakers.”
They shared a glance that lingered just a bit too long, teasing and electric.
