Hey guys! Does anyone feel like June is going by slow or fast? I have been enjoying the slow moving weeks and having some time to do some extra activities. What have you been up to this summery season?

🎀BAND-MAID Sunday:
This week we check out “Dilemma!” When I saw the title of this song I really wanted to know what the band’s dilemma was about. I always like to think about what was Miku’s inspiration for the lyrics. The definition of a dilemma according to Merriam-Webster is a difficult situation requiring a choice between two or more undesireable or conflicting alternatives. What are those two conflicting ideas? Let’s check it out!

🔹Melt - “Plant the Garden”
It’s been a while since I have listened to a song from Melt and I am glad to be back again! “Sour Candy” was a great tune and I absolutely loved the band and the vocalist. This song comes off their more recent album “If There’s a Heaven” and apparently we will get a showcase of Veronica, the singer’s voice!
🔹Sohyang - “Moving On”
I have only had the opportunity to check out one of Sohyang’s original songs before now. I am excited to listen to “Moving On.” I was told that this song is about a personal experience in her life. I love that music is her healing outlet! It’s been a while so I’m excited to check this out!
🔹BAND-MAID - “Dilemma” from 2020 World Domination Tour
Look…I really love this album. Period. I know it’s a favorite of mine. I have also really loved what I have seen from the World Domination Tour show. I like to check out the live shows because I love to watch the energy of the Maids. This album was made to have some medium tempo songs for the Maids to take a breather, but seeing their energy on stage during these songs leads me to believe that they only know how to bring it on stage!
