Okay, so, last week was a shitshow. I basically spent four or five days playing a losing game of whack-a-migraine. Then, it took a day or two for my brain to recover enough that it didn't feel like I pushing every thought through pudding. To give you a sense of how bad it was, I forgot to pay my rent. Given that I'm deeply invested in not doing things that threaten my continued access to easy shelter, especially in the middle of winter, that's pretty telling. I'm not sure what triggered all those migraines, specifically, although even money is on the weather. It does, however, seem to be over now. So, yay for little victories.
I will be trying to play a bit of catch-up with the chapters, but it's hard to know how successful that will be. I'm almost always good for one or two chapters a day. Anything beyond that is a roll of the dice. I'll just have to play it by ear.
In other news, I will be sending out signed copies of Unintended Cultivator Volume 7 today for the Uncle Kho's Corner tier subscribers. So there isn't any confusion, I make my shipping list when I get the books, not when I'm ready to print the labels. Why? Well, sometimes, I'm slow to get those shipped, which is the case here.
I'm also planning to send out signed paperback copies of Isekai Terry: Tropes of Doom tomorrow. That shipping list will be different from today's UC 7 shipping list because I just got those Isekai Terry paperbacks in the last couple of days. Hence the explanation above.
I know it's been a while, so I'm planning to open up a window for non-Uncle Kho's Corner subscribers to order signed copies of recent and not so recent books, including Isekai Terry. I made sure to get a few extra copies of UC 5, UC 6, UC 7, and Isekai Terry for this exact purpose. That will probably happen either this coming weekend or the beginning of next week. So, mark your calendars! Yes, I'm old enough to remember when people actually had calendars and marked things on them.
Now, this is totally a tease because I can't say much, but there is a secret thing coming soon. Probably in a couple of months. It is Unintended Cultivator related. It will be awesome. Sadly, that's about the limit of what I can share right now, but more info will trickle out as I'm allowed to share it.
