You may think it’s dumb to sign-up to get notified for something you know you'll hear about from me when it releases, and I agree with you. It's super dumb. But having the follower count go up makes me feel good in a video game victory dopamine-surge way and, much more crucially, also gets my publisher off my back about doing social media posts.
