A talented huntress in her prime, Mildred was once the reigning champion of The Great Hunt. She is half human/half Kal'dren and was betrothed to Rolf (Rowena's father) when they were younger to help strengthen the alliance between humans and Kal'dren. Her father is a high ranking human military officer who wedded a noble Kal'dren woman, her mother. Her half human side makes her less tolerant to the cold weather which explains why she covers up more than most Kal'dren.
