At birth Death had many enemies—brothers and sisters—in order to survive they had to made the ultimate sacrifice: shed the blood of their own family. As the blood of the Fallen bled through the world's arteries, so did Death's heart, for every injury they inflected it was a personal attack against the Creator's endless benevolence.
The Creator's final legacy never seemed so hopeless during those eons.
