tw: mental health issues, s**cide ideation
Hi again folks~! I wish I could give you positive news about my condition, but sadly I had a mental health relapse. I'm very sad and angry because I was doing great with my medication (I could work, exercise, go outside with minimal anxiety) when my psychiatrist decided to stop it and making me feel withdraw. He changed my meds and made me feel crazy for a week because I was feeling worse and worse (couldn't work, eat shower, everything was scary, I was shaking non stop), but I couldn't do anything about it since he went on vacations. I relied on my terapist, family and friends, a diary, but it simply wasn't enough. Living with the crippling anxiety was making me crazy.
Last Saturday I was feeling like, well, not wanting to be here anymore and I realized enough was enough. I asked to my significant others to take me to the emergency room of an hospital where a very renowned psychiatrist worked (I was her patient for a similar problem years ago, but she wasn't available this time) I was lucky enough to get her to come to the hospital on her free day. Summary, she didn't liked my prescription. She changed some dosis and gave me back the first meds I was using (which turned out to be helpful to get rid my negative thoughts). I'll get to be her patient now.
Right now, I'm so sleepy I haven't been able to work yet, but I have faith I can get better wtih a week of rest. Don't worry, I always have content saved for this cases. Tbh I just wanted to vent a little since it was very scary and painful getting better, only to go back to square one. Please be careful of your health and always make a lot of questions and bring a trusted person to your appointments even if you feel like a child, they could make useful questions you could've never think of.
