I was listening to Vinesauce Vinny playing The Classrooms, and loved the idea of this horrendous beast who follows sounds only. I kept thinking of Maple having to keep a noisy cat-thing from being consumed by one, but it has the loudest meow that keeps alerting it. I'm too swamped to turn this into a full short, but damn I want to. But alas, 40 hours of my week are spent outside... the natural enemy of animators everywhere.
Can ya tell that cat-thing was designed after I finished "Cannon Larva Carnage"? And the ears-only beast was based on the Smoky Progg with Sableye ears.
Here's the initial guide! I'm prioritizing "Gengar's Shadowplay", but I'm gonna chip at this for a bit during. I'll update here whenever I make progress.

Maybe I should go back to this design, like, why aren't I using this? It's kinda peak with the tied sidelocks. I'll have to edit the current drawing into this design, and see how it feels.

Went ahead and finished this up, and I think it turned out pretty SICK.
I wanted this BG to look creepypasta-like. The classic high-contrast thing that would be at home in an old school creepypasta.
And as a bonus, here's a size ref of how tall Maple is compared to a 6ft human. I got carried away, and tossed Karolyn, Vi and Evelyn in there, too. I gotta get to work on "Nine to Five Feet Under", but I do wanna finalize this Maple ref, she looks great here. Use this as you will!
I really need to make clones of myself so I can build entire shows around each of these characters. I'm likely gonna start a master post for Vi and Maple for their bios and backgrounds, so keep an eye on 'um!
