DESCRIPTION

TERROR AT THE WORLD CUP

THE MINISTRY IN CHAOS

What began as a triumphant celebration of international Quidditch descended into catastrophe late last evening as widespread violence erupted across the campgrounds of the Quidditch World Cup, leaving dozens dead and hundreds more injured in what Ministry officials are describing as the worst public magical accident to take place in Britain in nearly two decades.

The Ministry of Magic has confirmed 47 fatalities and 863 injuries following what officials are calling a “highly unfortunate chain reaction of magical accidents” that occurred shortly after midnight.

According to early Ministry reports, the incident began when several illicit spells were cast within the densely populated campground, triggering confusion among attendees and leading to a rapid, uncontrolled evacuation. The resulting panic caused severe overcrowding, trampling, tent collapses, fire outbreaks, and accidental magical discharge as frightened spectators attempted to flee.

Minister for Magic Cornelius Fudge addressed reporters early this morning inside the Ministry atrium.

“At this time, there is no evidence whatsoever to suggest this was a coordinated attack or deliberate act of violence.” Said the Minister, going on to urge the wizarding public to avoid “dangerous speculation, rumor-mongering, and alarmist conclusions”.

“Large gatherings involving elevated emotions, celebratory drinking, recreational spellcasting, and tens of thousands of attendees unfortunately create conditions where accidents can escalate rapidly.” Fudge’s Chief Undersecretary, Dolores Umbridge stressed from the Minister’s side.

When pressed repeatedly by reporters regarding witness claims of masked figures and hostile magical activity, the Minister’s office dismissed the reports. “In highly stressful situations, eyewitness testimony is notoriously unreliable. Many individuals were frightened, disoriented, and in some cases delusional. At present, the Ministry has no suspects because there are no known perpetrators.”

However, the Department of Magical Law Enforcement seems to disagree. A press report released in the early hours of the morning announced the capture of several suspects who are pending trial. Further, DMLE Director Amelia Bones has gone on record to detract the Minister’s earlier statements, claiming Minister Fudge was trying to “save face” in a tragedy he was actively trying to “cover-up”.

Whatever the truth is, the Daily Prophet will be sure to report further on the impending trials and upcoming emergency Wizengamot sessions. So stay tuned!

“Bloody hell.” Harry remarked after seeing the morning paper.

It wasn’t just the numbers of wizards killed or injured that shocked him, but also the photos from the aftermath included within the article. Sure, he had been there in person to experience the chaos, but seeing the pictures of hundreds of destroyed tents, corpses decorating the ground, along with a close-up of Voldemort’s dark mark really put things into perspective.

Further reading revealed that almost a dozen of the fatalities were due to trampling from the rabid crowds, and a significant number overall had died in their tents when they were set alight. A stray incendio or bombardment curse would hit a magically expanded tent, which would kill the asleep or drunken residents inside. After reading about that, he was just grateful he got out of the Weasley tent in time.

“Indeed.” Aspasia grimaced at his side, sitting alongside him as they all sat eating breakfast. “I’m just glad the three of you got out alright.”

“Me too.” Astoria agreed.

Daphne shifted slightly across from him. “I really shouldn’t be surprised at this point, but does Fudge really think he can bury this? Cover up a disaster this big?”

“Framing the entire event as one massive accident with no clear perpetrators will have the Dark faction backing Fudge. And we all know why.” Aspasia referenced Malfoy and his cronies, who framed themselves as ‘weak-willed imperius victims’ after Voldemort fell, even when they all knew better. And it just so happened those same people were Fudge’s greatest supporters. “I tend to think an attack like this was organized, but the alternative explanation would be that some Death Eaters got drunk and nostalgic and one thing led to another.”

Harry disagreed with the latter explanation, as dozens of wizards didn’t get killed just because some Death Eaters wanted to reenact the good ‘old days when Voldemort was still around.

“Are they really going to get away with this?” He had learned a lot about politics in the past couple months, to the point he understood what was happening at a basic level. But Aspasia was the one with experience, and he wanted her opinion.

“Mhm.” The older blonde hummed in uncertainty. “I heard from a certain source that one of the Death Eaters they captured was one you knocked out in the forest.”

“Oh?” He sat up straighter. “Do you know who it is?”

“I didn’t get that much, as the DMLE is staying tight-lipped about the identities of their new prisoners.” She replied. “What I did manage to learn is they captured five of them alive, and that one of them is making quite a ruckus internally.”

“And the trials? Will we be there for them?” Daphne asked.

“Unless something changes, the trials won’t take place for a while. If at all.” She put aside the paper. “The paper mentioned it, but an emergency Wizengamot session will take place in a few days. While not something that affects myself, the other Ministries are up in arms, and it will cost Fudge more than his career if criminal convictions or even executions aren’t made.”

“The ICW has the power to arrest Ministers, and even wizards, if enough of their members get on board with it.” Daphne recited that important piece of information, seemingly talking more to herself than to them. Her mind was more politically geared than his own, as she was raised to be the heiress after all.

“Exactly, my dear. Which means Fudge will have to choose between saving his donors - such as Lucius Malfoy - or risking arrest himself.” Aspasia nodded. “It’s something to think about, and I promise the three of you that I will do what I can to make sure these trials take place.”

Himself, Astoria, and Daphne all nodded at her words. And notably, Daphne’s gaze snapped to his own for a few moments before she looked away, standing up and leaving the table with her sister. Harry stood to leave, but Aspasia grabbed his hand before he could go, and gestured for him to follow.

She led him through the manor and to her office, doing so in silence and closing the door behind him. He wondered if she had other information about the attack’s aftermath or even inside scoop from the Ministry that she wanted to share with him, choosing to do so in her private office.

He watched as she sat across from him, her voice coming out flat. “There is a matter we need to discuss, being Astoria.”

Harry stilled, seeing how serious the Greengrass Matriarch had suddenly become. Is she mad? The woman had been remarkably laid back in the aftermath of the Quidditch World Cup, and he had to wonder if she had been holding back whatever anger she felt till now.

“I’m sorry about everything, I never knew the World Cup would become such a disaster.” He apologized, hoping it would minimize the verbal beating he was anticipating. “To be honest, I never should have pushed for us to go in the first place.”

Aspasia only looked at him strangely. “Oh, uh- I didn’t bring you here to talk about that.”

“Huh?” Harry suddenly felt like an idiot. “Then what is it?”

She took out her wand and pressed it against a decoration engraved into her desk then, before muttering a spell. The desk glowed, before the light spread out and zoomed across the room to cover every surface.

He watched as the room’s portraits suddenly became empty, their occupants swept away by a knockback charm or something similar. Next came the windows, shutters slamming closed on the outside and glass tinting black so no light entered the room. He could hear the locks on the door behind him, and glanced back to see a barrier of some sort filling the cracks to prevent any eavesdroppers.

They were sealed in and protected, and it reminded him of those safe rooms that rich muggles had built into their mansions. The occupants of Greengrass Manor could likely hide in this room if there were any intruders in the home, hidden and untouchable behind whatever enchantments Aspasia had just activated.

She could kill me right now and no one would know. The thought was as amusing as it was frightening, as the two of them were truly alone in this room. Clearly whatever she wants to discuss must be important.

“Just a small enchantment to make sure we aren’t overheard.” She said simply at his questioning look.

He couldn’t help but feel slightly incredulous. “A small enchantment?”

“Some things don’t need to be overheard, especially what I’m about to discuss with you.” She looked him in the eye. “But first, I couldn’t help but notice that you and Astoria are closer.”

“Is it that obvious?”

“Besides her plea to go to the World Cup with you? I have a feeling that the two of you have moved beyond simple touches.”

“We’ve kissed.” He shrugged. “And she sucked me off the first night in the tent.”

“Dirty girl.” Aspasia muttered.

“Like you’re any better.” If anything, the blonde MILF was an even bigger slut than her daughter when it came to bedroom antics.

“Touché.” She grinned in amusement, before straightening. “While I’m not going to tell you how to pace your relationship with my youngest daughter, there is a certain… circumstance that you need to know about.”

So this is what she wants to talk about. “Does it have to do with her being sickly?”

That was something he had noticed since his arrival. Astoria would often disappear without any clear excuse that was explained to him. While Daphne disappeared off to some events that younger Pureblood heirs were practically required to attend, Astoria would sometimes stay in her room within the manor or simply disappear entirely without explanation. When he would ask, usually Aspasia would brush his questions off or change the subject, something the woman was very good at.

And then there were the times Astoria had coughed in a way that made his hairs stand on edge, or shown up to meals with bags under her eyes that makeup couldn’t fully hide.

Aspasia nodded. “I’m not surprised you noticed. If anything, I’m shocked you haven’t pushed for answers.”

“It’s her business, and not right for me to butt more into her life.” He was already living with the Greengrasses, and didn’t need to start demanding answers or explanations from them too.

“You wouldn’t be wrong to do so.” She said. “Astoria is to be your wife after all, and what I’m about to say will impact your relationship.”

“Whatever you’re about to say won’t impact my feelings for her.” He said with certainty.

Aspasia took a deep breath to steady herself. “The Greengrass family is cursed with an ancient bloodline curse…”

/////

He found himself walking to the stables located on the Greengrass estate afterwards, a fair walk from the manor on a gravel road that passed by fenced fields of lush grass. A massive barn sat at the end overlooking it all, mostly empty except for a few animals and house-elves that regularly took care of them. He was sure it saw heavy use centuries ago, back when animals were often used for transportation and when the Greengrass family had more members in its ranks.

That said, he did pass by thestrals, puffskeins, and a demiguise that turned invisible when it saw him. Eventually he reached the latest addition to the small herd, Buckbeak, the Hippogriff from his third year of Hogwarts who had started living on the property.

“Harry!” The call of his name made him turn to see Astoria, clad in a tight riding outfit and spandex pants that highlighted her perky, poundable butt.

He tried not to think of what Aspasia had just revealed, or to feel pity for the brunette girl, yet he had never been the best when it came to dealing with emotions. Something must have leaked through and shown on his face though, as she stopped walking halfway towards him, looking startled.

It was in that moment he made a decision, knowing this wasn’t a conversation he could delay. “Aspasia told me everything.”

He didn’t have to explain, as the horrified expression on her face told him everything. It was in that moment Harry decided he never wanted to see Astoria like that again.

Before he knew it, his body was moving on its own. In just a few strides, he was upon the smaller girl. She barely got out a squeak before he slammed his mouth against her lips, overwhelming her as his hands moved to roam over every inch of her body. She gasped and tried to keep up, yet he was moving on lust, consuming her with his intensity.

His fingers dug into her fleshy ass, picking her up and sitting her down nearby. Astoria somehow found herself on one of those empty horse benches that typically held saddles. Her ass was sticking out and ripe for the taking - if he wanted, at least - but no breeding would take place that day. Instead he gave her bum a harsh spank, making her moan.

SMACK

“Is this what you wanted?” She turned around to see his expression, which must have appeared monstrous in that moment. “For me to use you? To be as rough as I’d like?”

SMACK

“…It has been in our family for nearly a thousand years, and none of my ancestors know where it comes from.” Aspasia spoke, looking almost bitter but also wary. He was sure this was a topic the woman absolutely hated to discuss, and had many bad memories associated with the subject. “It typically affects every other generation of those born with the Greengrass name, cursing them with weak vitality and shorter lives.”

“Shorter lives?” His stomach felt like it did a flip. “D-Does-”

“Astoria will likely live into her forties.” She answered his question before he could finish. “Could be longer, if she paces herself and spends most days in bed. Her life could also be shorter, which is definitely a risk with her outgoing personality.”

“And what are the effects of the curse?” He swallowed, trying not to give in to his emotions in that moment.

“You’ve probably seen some of it by now.” She smiled softly. “On most days, my daughter is just like the rest of us. Other days, she can’t leave her bed, gets ill, and might even need to go to Saint Mungos. It also comes in episodes, such as seizures and vertigo at random times, but we’ve come up with pre-measures to mostly deal with those.”

“And there’s no solution?” He couldn’t help but ask. “Muggle or magical?”

“Most magical treatments only worsen how far along the curse is.” She said. “The easiest way to explain it is to say it is tied to her soul, in that strange place between blood and magic. Not something that can be treated by muggle medicines, as they only treat things on the physical side, not illnesses that are magical in nature.”

“I see.” He realized that the Lady of House Greengrass would know way more about the subject than he ever could. “I take it there are others who have had it?”

“Yes. My grandmother did, when I was younger.” She gained a faraway look. “However, most of my experience with the curse comes from my aunt, who I spent a great deal of time with investigating the curse. Sadly, we weren’t able to uncover much that our ancestors already discovered in their own research.”

“And you really have no clue as to where it came from?”

“None.” Aspasia stated. “My family has searched - even I’ve researched the matter and sorted through old records - and no answers been found. After so many centuries, wars, the statute of secrecy and the death of knowledge that came with it… It is more than likely any answers have been erased and lost to time.”

“Damn.” Was all he could mutter, realizing just how momentous this curse was to the Greengrass family. And just like the family Matriarch said, he was sure there had been countless Greengrasses throughout the ages who had also researched the curse as well.

“There is one thing we have found.” She said at last, making him sit up. “Being the ritual I mentioned to you some time ago. If done between partners, usually a Greengrass bride and her mate, the ritual is shown to help-”

“I’ll do it.” He didn’t let her finish, deciding in that moment he would do anything to help Astoria.

Aspasia smiled at his readiness. “Alright then. We’ll do a test run of the ritual between the two of us first, then I’ll set it up for both you and Astoria to perform together at a later date.”

“Is this how you want to be treated? Like my whore?”

That seemed to snap her out of it, as Astoria stopped looking at him in pure disbelief. She had likely thought he would treat her differently now, not rough or submissive as she liked, but instead tailoring their bedroom experiences to her curse.

But Harry had decided otherwise.

“Yes!” She bit her lips, cheeks red. “Please! Everyone else treats me like a doll, too afraid to let me do anything! I can’t play Quidditch! Can’t duel! They even tried to limit how much magic I can practice in a day!”

He took that in, before giving her bum another slap that made her gasp. “I’m not going to treat you like a doll. I’m going to treat you like the slut you are. My little whore.”

Astoria moaned and panted as if in heat, pupils wide as she looked up at him in rapture. Even if it wasn’t the best for her health, it made her happy, and that was all Harry wanted. She deserved happiness and pleasure more than safety.

“I’ll pull your hair, spank your ass red, and fill you with so much cum you’ll look pregnant by the time I’m done with you.” He shot forward, gripping her hair forcefully and pulling her head back towards him. “Is that what you want? To be my good little cumdump?”

She nodded shakily, but he could see the desperation and want in her eyes. The brunette was so turned on she didn’t know what to do, her core gushing so hard it soaked through her tight riding pants.

“The others might not like it, but I’ll do it for you, Astoria.” He let her hair go, instead rubbing her head soothingly. “However, if it’s too much for you, then you need to tell me. Alright?”

She nodded in agreement, lips quirking upwards in happiness.
