Results: Next Language Poll [v0.44 / v0.45]

Ahoy Buccaneers!

This time I bring you the results of the last poll, which determined which translation will be prioritized in v0.44 or v0.45!

I’ll try to include it in the next version, but I’m currently working full-time on several aspects of v0.44, which is about to be released, along with an extra surprise I mentioned in the last Sneak Peek. If you haven’t seen it yet, don’t forget to check it out and stay informed about what’s coming!

As always, I want to thank all of you who participated in the voting. The turnout was huge!

Without further ado, here are the results:

Japanese didn’t just win, it completely dominated the poll with a margin I honestly didn’t expect!

While I wasn’t expecting a big difference in this vote, when I thought about it for a second and read some of your comments, it makes perfect sense. It’s the original language of the work that inspires this world, and it’s clear that many of you want to experience the adventure as close as possible to that origin.

This means Japanese is the next language to be added to Lusty Buccaneers! That said, I carefully reviewed all the results. As always, I don’t just focus on the winner, I also take into account which other languages received support.The idea is to keep running more language polls, so that little by little more players can enjoy the game in their native language.

If everything goes according to plan, Japanese will arrive in v0.44, or at the latest be included in v0.45, and v0.44 will likely be released on 04-01, also making the previous version, 0.43, available to everyone.
