This time, I bring you a poll that will help define the direction of the game for future versions. This poll is especially important because it will determine how the story continues, which arc we will explore next, and which new characters will join this adventure 🔥.
I want to remind everyone that the winner of the last Next Buccaneer's Poll was Rebecca, a decision that shaped all the content developed from v0.32 to v0.41 and ultimately led to her joining the crew. Keep in mind that winning the poll does not mean the character will immediately be available in the next version. Instead, it marks the beginning of their story and development within the game. That's exactly why I consider this poll so important. Depending on the winning option, we may not have another vote of this scale until 2027.
As I always say, you're not just voting for a girl. You're also voting for all the content that comes with her: new islands, side characters, possible mechanics, factions, stories, enemies, and much more. With that in mind, this time the candidates will include not only new faces, but also our three main heroines. Their personal stories have not yet begun, and much of their past remains a mystery. Also, remember that Lusty Buccaneers does not strictly follow the events of the original series, so you may encounter more than a few surprises.
Following Rebecca's example, it's also important to remember that some arcs can be very extensive and require a significant amount of time and development. Depending on the character you choose, reaching their destination could become a journey that spans multiple updates. So choose wisely! This decision will influence many future versions. Some candidates may bring entirely new stats or gameplay systems, while others could introduce new races, regions, or even complete factions such as the Marines.
I have a huge number of mechanics, minigames, weapons, items, and storylines planned for each candidate. The amount of content that could be added to the game is enormous 🔥. I hope you're as excited as I am to find out who will be the next winner.
And finally, please remember that every girl's story will be adapted so that they are adults in the present timeline where the game takes place.
