Hello!
This is the very first public post that is available for everyone. I plan to do public posts occasionally because a lot of people is interested on some of the projects I am working on, and I keep receiving DMs asking about the status of them.I think using Patreon to keep everyone informed is a good idea, as I can express myself much better than in a short tweet.
First of all, I want to say, thank you everyone for your support and your kind words. These non-profit projects are done in our free time, so I appreciate your patience.
Lately, it seems people is a little worried about the colorization of Donkey Kong for Game Boy. All I can say is the project is progressing nicely, we are working hard to get the best result we can achieve. Progress is probably around 70%, though we are still far from the goal.If you are worried about the release date, I can confirm it won't be ready this year. I really wanted to get it released on its 30th anniversary but I do not want to beat myself up with it neither. So, again, please understand this is not our job.
Good news are... I plan to add a neverseen feature in a DX remaster. It is still to early to announce because there can exist obstacles that could make it impossible, but I'm crossing fingers (and you should too!)
And more good news: if things go well, the very first trailer for DKDX will be released on 27th July! The trailer will be very short (around 60s) because we don't want to spoil too much, but we are already ready to provide some well edited footage :-)

Anyway... Since this is a public post, I'm going to take the opportunity to ask for your opinion.I'll be posting here (for patrons) soon about overlay sprites and how they have been implemented in DK and other DX remasters, explaining in detail the limitations of GBC colorization capabilities.

Keep in mind, this is just a poll, it doesn't mean the one that wins here will be implemented. It depends on several factors. I'm just curious about a public opinion.
