Hello all!
On occasions, development tends to slow down slightly, and this is not because I'm not spending time on the game but because there's a need to think about how best the long-term route should work.
This includes creating new art that can be used not only for present but also future scenes, creating maps for it and characters for it too. All this also includes the need to make sure everything fits well in the long-term plot. Which includes revisions and re-doing of scenes/art.
The next update shifts the story to Peach Garden, a building of deplorable adult entertainment. And I knew that this event (introduction to the place) was going to be long but it's turning out to be slightly longer than I predicted.
Dan, Shion, Jordan, and Jinnie will all have equal screentime in this event, so you can see how it'll be long to develop and publish but I hope you'll look forward to it!
I know we're hitting new places (we already have Beach Bar and Drex's Mansion) but please bear with me, this will all be necessary and open up to a lot of possibilities that I plan to implement further down the route. For it to feel like a sandbox route and for a variety of adult content to happen, we have to take a little detour outside of the beach bar.
There will be a fair amount of art for this event because I really want it to hit, so look forward to that too. There is this flow and structure with larger events that you sort of have to grasp and hit the spot of to make it snap in place for the player. Revising that takes time too but hopefully it'll be something you'll all enjoy!
The update will come this month but will likely come nearer to the end of the month because of how much denser this event/arc is turning out to be. This is planned to be the last "big event/long arc" for a while, but we'll get to what's next and talk about that when this update is out, it's a little soon anyway.
