🍓 A very special commission just dropped — and oh boy, is she (they!) a lot to handle.
Alright, we know you. We know you. And we’re pretty confident that when you see this week’s commission, you’re going to lose your mind a little. 😏
This one was requested by a patron with excellent taste — featuring two very familiar faces from the world of anime, rendered in the full, gloriously abundant ArtgasmiK style. If you’re a fan of curves that defy structural engineering… this is your day. 🎉
And because we love showing you how the magic happens, we’re giving you the full behind-the-scenes journey — all four stages, start to finish:
✏️ PENCILS
This is where it all begins. Mariano puts pencil to paper and builds the composition from scratch — the poses, the proportions, the energy of the scene. At this stage it’s all construction lines, rough volumes, and happy accidents. It looks chaotic, but trust us — there’s a master plan in there. This is the skeleton that everything else gets built on.
🖊️ INKS
Now the lines get serious. Every curve is committed to ink — sharp, clean, deliberate. The volume becomes real, the characters start breathing, and Mariano’s linework does what it does best: make you stop and stare. Black and white never looked this good.
🎨 FLATS
Hernán’s turn! Before the shading and the drama, we lay down the base colors — solid, flat tones for every area of the illustration. This is the “coloring book” stage, and it’s where the palette gets decided. Boring to some, crucial to us. This is the foundation everything else rests on.
✨ FINAL COLOR
And here she is. Both of them. In all their full-color, fully-rendered, strawberry-sharing glory. Shading, highlights, skin texture, that gorgeous pink background — everything dialed up to maximum. Hernán went all in on this one and honestly? It shows.
Now — Akeno and Rias. If you know High School DxD, you already know these two are iconic. If you don’t know High School DxD… well, consider this your introduction. Dark-haired, ponytailed, dangerously charming Akeno on the left, fiery red-headed Rias on the right. Both of them very much enjoying their strawberries and each other’s company. Extremely relatable.
