Since the last update:
Another 133 renders added (up to 587 total).
Picked out a few songs for the main Quality Time scene. Not sure if I'm going to keep them in, though. They didn't feel quite right as I played through the scene. I'll revisit them later and see how I feel about them then.
Made adjustments to the commissioned animations. They use a different toolset than what I use, so it took a bit of extra time to adjust before being able to get the scenes updated.
Rendered out the eight videos from the commissions: two animations in four angles.
The above combined to wrap up the main QT scene. I've written one other, but I don't expect many people currently have saves that will trip it.
Total line count for the script is up to around 6500 after the recent tweaks/additions, and I'm a little over a third of the way through that. The secondary QT scene and one other major scene are the last of the more complex ones in the update.
This update is definitely not small enough to get down to my 4-5 month development-time goal; it'll probably be around the same size as Part Three, maybe larger line/render-wise. I've also been giving 50-55 hour weeks a go to see what impact it had on my pace. Was working around 70-75 before that, so definitely got more done on the old schedule. Update sizes will feel pretty small by comparison if I keep the lighter pace, especially for the first releases in a chapter, since that's when I plan on handling most of the writing.
Thanks for the support and stay safe!
