August is here, and we’re settling into it like a quiet evening in Golden Grove: a night at the diner, some heart-warming tunes, and a quick chat about bugs (an ideal night for Cove and Tammy!)There’s a lot to look forward to this month, and we’re grateful you’re with us for another thirty one days of summer! ☀️
Monthly Content Plans
General progress: In August, GB plans to finish EVERYTHING for the linked Moments! A big task, but if anyone can do it, it’s our fearless leader. We also have a brand new community event to share! You’re hearing it here first – GB is going to start doing Tumblr Q&As the second Sunday of every month. She’ll be ready to read your inbox messages and will respond to as many as she can. What inspired this, you may ask? A while ago, we announced that the Patreon Q&As would become public, but Patrons would be the only ones able to ask questions for them. GB felt that there should still be a space for non-Patrons to ask her questions, so she had the idea to get this event rolling. Stay tuned for more info!
Writing: She’ll also get started on drafting Step 2 Moment #8. (Wow, eight Moments already! Step 2 will be wrapped up before we know it.) Art: Tons of sprite alterations will be done for Step 2 scenes that are currently being written. Also, there will be several backgrounds created for new Step 2 locations! Programming: Finally, programming progress will focus more on the Step 2 prologue – though it likely won’t be fully wrapped up until after next month.
