Monthly Content Summary
This month, we announced our next run of merchandise! We had so much fun sending out the very first GB clothing item and wanted to keep those good vibes coming. So, later this year, we’ll be releasing a pair of socks and a t-shirt, both Our Life: Beginnings & Always themed. We sent out a poll for the community to vote on their favorite designs a few weeks ago. The poll is closed, but if you’d like to take a look at the mock-ups, you can check out the Drive here. While I can’t reveal the results, I will say that it was very close, and we’re having a blast orca-strating this one behind the scenes 👀
Next, we’ll have a call for a new programmer position open in March! Thanks for your patience while we get the role finalized, we’re sorry that we’ve been taking a bit to send it out — it’ll go live early in March. The team is so excited to meet the applicants. 🥰
Development Progress
After a ton of hard work, GB has wrapped up the script for the 10th and final Step 2 Moment!
She also began the outline and draft for the Fall Ended section of Step 2. Step 3 is next, and your neighbors will be 18! Can you believe it?! I feel like a mother watching her children grow up in the blink of an eye. 😭
Next, the team programmed a huge chunk of Scares & Sweets. It was released in this month’s beta.Speaking of the beta, here are the details of what went out this month, specifically:
Step 2 Scares & Sweets Part 1
Added backgrounds that were missing in prior build
Added sound effects to some older Moments
Fixes to typos/errors from the prior build
Tons of new art, especially backgrounds, were created this month. If you recall, we recently brought on a few new background artists, who have been bringing fantastic work to the team.
