An artificer that specializes as a draconeer is a dragon hunter that creates firearms powered by the innate magic within dragon blood and organs. A combination of an alchemistic, hunter, and cook, draconeers are experts when it comes to tracking dragons, killing them, and harvesting their body parts to create magic items to make their next dragon hunt more efficient. Many draconeers make their living by hunting rare creatures for organs and selling them to magic shops. The first draconeers were dwarves that sought a dragon’s hoard or sought to reclaim a dwarven stronghold that a dragon claimed as its lair. Through the ages these teachings were eventually taught to other dragon hunters. The most well-known draconeers start dragon hunting guilds to hunt chromatic dragons and wyverns.
