Barbarians that walk the Path of the Storm harness the destructive power of storms. The first barbarians of this path were taught by an archdruid to control the winds by creating a connection with the elemental air forces by learning breathing techniques. Through these techniques they are able to infuse their soul with elemental power called an Inner Storm. Using their inner storm allows these barbarians to create freezing air, call down lightning and thunder, and manipulate the wind around them. Legends say that storm path barbarians are followed by a perpetual storm. Most of the barbarians of this path come from highland, mountain, or island tribes with close connections to the elemental plane of air or tribes that are allies of storm giants.
