If you’ve been missing your favorite catgirl streamer just as much as I have, then I have good news: Katja is going live again next week, and naturally, we'll be there to witness it firsthand.
One of the viewers who followed Katja's invitation at the end of the last part is lucky enough to reach Katja first and... gets to satisfy her newly discovered desires ^^. However, Katja might just repeat one of her mistakes from Part 1 and fail to double-check whether her livestream is actually switched on or not...
You'll have to be just a little bit more patient until then, though - I should have the comic finished by around the middle of next week!
Bovine Breakout - Part 2
Until then, however, let's dedicate some time to my - I think currently actually favorite - girl, Emily. There's a reason I put her in the banner of my Patreon, after all ^^
And I think I've definitely done her justice, because all in all, I'm quite satisfied with how the 2nd part of her story came together. I think I really managed to maintain the spirit of the comic - meaning Emily's obliviousness and the somewhat slower pacing - while still bringing a bit of action into the comic towards the end (though okay, I did take 5 extra pages for it this time, haha).
Regarding the somewhat slower part of the comic, I am especially proud of pages 8-11. Those are the ones where we see Emily lying in her bed from a low angle, giving us a great view of her underboob while her breasts slowly grow. Those specific pages really tested my patience though; the background, in particular, was a huge challenge here. The usual strategy - just separating the character in the foreground from the background and then replacing the background in every image to keep it consistent - wasn't really possible here because Emily is interacting directly with the background (the bed, the blanket, etc.). So, I ended up having to go old school and do it manually in Photoshop. But man, was it worth it haha. These pages are just, aah, I love them. Definitely one of my highlights in this comic <3
Another relatively challenging spot was page 3, where we can see Emily chugging the remaining milk from the bucket in one go. I can tell you this much: Stable Diffusion has absolutely no concept of what it means for someone to drink from a bucket, haha. Generating this page was a reaaaal pain, and that’s putting it mildly. There is also a little secret regarding this page and the subsequent ones. You can't really see it in the comic, but knowing the background info might actually destroy a certain illusion there a little bit. Maybe I'll let you in on it someday, but currently, the comic is still too new for that hehe >.<
To close things out, I want to talk one last time (oh, who am I kidding, I'll probably talk about it a zillion more times) about the illustration of the pages. I think I've finally reached a point where my comics really look like something. We have different shapes for the speech bubbles themselves, different line styles (solid, dashed, bold...), illustrated text in all kinds of fonts, hearts and other emotes on the pages... There's really a lot of variety on this front by now. When I think back to my early days when de facto all speech bubbles looked the same and all effects were simply standard text, all written in the same font... man, was that boring. I felt like it didn't stand out that much back then, but I definitely can't go back now.
That is generally something that bothers me a little but simultaneously also makes me very happy. Without wanting to praise myself too much right now, I definitely think that I've improved so much over the last year that all my older comics are somehow just... yeah, not really worth seeing anymore. I honestly have to cringe myself nowadays when I see what I fabricated back then, haha. But hey, actually that's a good thing, because it just shows that my work is getting better and better (and hopefully you see it that way too >.>).
Buut with that, I want to sign off for today. We'll talk again next week in Katja's livestream.Until then, take care!
