Legends of Baba-Set [TEASER]

Here's your daily page preview from the upcoming Legends of Baba-Set: Aphrodite comic.

My first goal with this comic is to do justice to the character Aphrodite, by making her one of the most alluring and beautiful characters I've ever drawn. That's why she has these long, flowing robes, which both give her a sense of drama and romanticism while also teasing and (barely) covering her nudity.

My second goal is, as I've said before, to transport readers to these majestic and otherworldly settings with big, dramatic splash pages. I've been reading Eternals by Kieron Gillen + Esad Ribic, and Ribic always excels at these kind of pages, so I'm very inspired by that. As we go inside the pyramid of Baba-Set, I'm excited to draw more massive temple-like interiors to give this comic a proper sense of scale and place.

I also plan to have some truly ranchy and gorgeous sex scenes later -- but this is just the preamble, and it's important to strike the tone.
